Chris Matthews 'West Point Enemy Camp'

30 seconds of total bullshit blah blah without any substance to even form an opinion on. Thanks alot man for wasting my time.

Yeah, Matthews is a massive tool, but in context what he said makes sense.

Your right it does, it just seems weird to refer to West Point as an enemy camp.

“But-but-but-but-Bush”

I have no doubt that Matthew’s feels the academy is enemy territory.

Someone should complie all the shit this asswipe has said…
Whats the punishment for treason in time of war?

So free speech only applies to statements that make us feel warm and fuzzy inside?

He wasn’t even close to suggesting that West Point is an enemy camp in the literal sense… anyone who believes he did is simply looking for reasons to whine.

I found it more offensive that he refers to “rabble-rouse” when talking about Service Academy cadets.

Rabble?

Wow!

I have a kid at a service academy and am glad this Matthew’s idiot says this kind of stuff – the hidden enemy of our country is far more dangerous than the ones who speak up.

He (Matthews) is creating a trail back to the elite scum who operate off-stage. Good. Someday when all their shitcan ‘planned society’ stuff comes tumbling down, we’ll know just who to deal with.

Matthew’s should go back to playing softball. Do you really expect them to be cheering? Protect and defend, not kiss ass on TV.

How many of you actually listened to the clip?

OK I get what he is saying… but being that I used to go to West Point, I can tell you these kids want to go to Afghanistan. You don’t suffer four years at West Point and not want to kill bad people. Trust me on this one folks.

Also, anyone who thinks that he literally meant that WP was the ‘enemy-camp’, is really just looking to take a shot at Matthews.

Fixed.

You may be the exception, but most West Pointers I have worked with or met were bitter bastards.

Did you notice some of the Cadets nodding off during Obama’s speech? I hope their TACs didn’t see that.

He has apologized.

Haha. That’s because they are bitter. How can someone not be bitter after 4 years of probably the shittiest years of your life? I didn’t even leave for that reason, I left because I wasn’t enjoying the Army enough for me to be in for so long.

Yeah I noticed the guys sleeping, that was hilarious, but it was typical and didn’t surprise me at all. Happens at every mandatory speech/lecture/blah blah blah. A lot of the FB status’ I saw prior to the speech were like “doesn’t want to go to this speech, needs to study so and so”. And yeah I get where they are coming from (though I wouldn’t be doing h/w if it was me, I’d be on T-Nation or some shit, hah).

Didn’t know WP was supposed to be a party school.

No wonder Navy kicks Army’s ass in football.

If you are not, or were not, a cadet, you can’t understand how much you hate your life, especially when you have to go to mandatory events. The week after T-Break. To listen to a president you probably don’t like. Nuff said.

Spot on sir.
