Choosing the Right TRT Clinic

So I would like to get started on a hormone replacement therapy program and I am trying to find the best clinic possible as I want to have a MD review my labs and make sure my PSA and everything stays within a healthy range. I’ve been doing my research and I was wondering if you guys could let me know if this is a pretty solid deal.

Royal Men’s Medical Center ( MaleTest.COM ) seems to be offering at a baseline price 200mg of testosterone cypionate (1cc) a week, (1cc) of HCG, and the estrogen inhibitor anastrozole. They have follow up labs with lab corp to make sure you are on track, doctor visits whenever need be, and with 300+ locations it seems like a giveaway. I wonder how they are making money…

Anyways I was wondering if it is a good deal and was wondering if anyone could please find me better.

Initial labs+physical (125.00)
Monthly prescription (195.00) this includes all follow up labs and medical doctor visits.

Apparently they have no hidden fees. Can someone find me better because this seems like the most complete regiment out there.

Are you covered by a major medical plan? I currently pay less than $10.00/month for the test cyp and anastrozole, and $20 copay once a year. Labs may cost $50.00 after the insurance pays. You will need to find a doctor who is willing to treat, however. Read the stickies and educate yourself. Clinics can be good or bad, as well as doctors. Your best course of action is obtaining knowledge.

The clinics that do 200 mg per week are shady operations. They cater to the kind of guys who want to be on a permanent light cycle without regard for long term health. (200 mg is not TRT, it is double what most guys need for TRT, not to mention the additional T you get from the HCG.) They prescribe (long-term) dangerous doses to be popular with a certain kind of clientele. They also normally require you to get the meds from them for astronomical prices compared to what your health care copay would be at your local pharmacy. They are mills - they won’t bother to determine the reason for your low T and treat accordingly (which can be important if you have, say, a prolactinoma, or are secondary instead of primary, or have ASIH (which can be cured), etc.).

It is better to look for a knowledgeable private doctor. Your wallet will thank you, but more important, your health will thank you. (If you want big muscle, it is probably much better for your health to do some actual steroid cycles and be done with it than be on a permanent 200 mg cycle.)
