I simply take issue with the notion that this is unprecedented. It’s not. Humanity has gone through numerous pandemics/epidemics with no clear solution. Simply having a resource shortage does not make us unique in any regard and our current challenges are almost trivial compared to pandemics in the past.
I would agree then. I mean unprecedented in terms of coming to grips with the idea that we could save a lot of people but can’t based on the number needing care at one time.
