Chick Goes Crazy at FAU

I was with you until you then tried to abstract ‘profiling’ from the Trayvon case. He fit the description of prior break-ins, it just so happened to be that the description was young and black.
I’m sorry, this changes what I wrote, how? I have “fit the description” more than once in my life. Sometimes, it didn’t even matter what car the “suspect” was driving.

If tonight in my town, a mid 20s white male breaks some law the causes police be on the lookout, and I am wandering the streets as a mid 20s white male who matches his description, I will be ‘profiled.’ That’s not racial profiling, that’s police work(or neighborhood watch work, but that discussion is for the actual Trayvon thread).

This post is in no way asserting that racial profiling hasn’t ever or doesn’t still happen, but the Trayvon case is a terrible example.
?? But, we are talking some pretty huge numbers with regards to racial profiling…not some rare case where all police go looking for a “mid 20’s white male”. I mean…that is what…damn near all of them? LOL

I mean, we aren’t even getting into length of hair, build, or anything else…just “young and black”. Well, damn…that sure does include a hell of a lot of us…and it sure as hell does happen often.

I mean, until I got my new car, getting pulled over in this city was an expected occurrence. I guess a shit load of us “fit the description”…while all you can come up with is some rare scenario that likely won’t ever happen.

Also, if “young and black” sounds like a good enough description to you to start pulling people over…something is wrong.

In 2005, several Democrats in Florida?s House of Representatives predicted the Stand Your Ground law would lead to tragic deaths, racial profiling and a case of legislative regret?predictions that seem eerily prescient in the wake of the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

I guess it is easier to just assume all of those black people are crazy and just seeing things.

So far the assumption is accurate.

its just Kappa Alpha Order, not Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. Its a social fraternity but you dont put fraternity at the end like you do with other houses. FYI

man, the youtube comments about this chick are brutal. Makes humans look like a horrible species.
I was racially profiled 3 times on 1 single trip 2 europe. 2 were at gun point (france) 1 was a detainment (england). I dont blame them. it was a horrible experience. I was shown a lot of hate in france (and I am french). When I came back and tried to deal with americans i found the relations to how I was treated overseas the same how others were treated over hear. Best way to end this thread is. “STOP! I drive along I-94 in my daily commute, which is a known drug corridor between Detroit and Chicago. It is a very common occurrence to see a vehicle stopped by the state police with it’s contents piled on the side of the road and the occupants of the vehicle standing at the front of the police car.

I can honestly say that not once in six years of driving this route do I recall those occupants being white.
