I think I got it figured out a bit. All the numbers you get are in multiples of 9.
But that doesn’t explain why its gotten every single symbol right even though the numbers I picked have been different like 5 times in a row.
Those fuckers.
They change the corresponding symbols every time.
So all the numbers that are multiples of 9 will be 69s one time, so whatever you pick, a 69 will come up. Then the next time, all the multiple of 9 numbers will be the wavy equal sign.
I was seriously tricked out for a minute there though.
Don’t want to be a “think tank” person, but what the hell, I’ll ruin the magic for everyone.
If you add any 2 digit number together, and subtract the product from it, you’ll get something that adds up to ‘9.’ You’ll always get a 9, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, or 90. Each time you try again on this site, they give the same symbols to the numbers that add up to 9. Very cool, but mathematically explainable.
chrismcl is right. It is simple maths.
The equation that they give you (take a two digit number and deduct the sum of the individual numbers from the original) will always result in the answer being a multiple of 9 as long as a two digit number is used. Therefore all the multiples of 9 are the same icon and the correct answer that gets flashed up on screen.
We got some bright guys in here. I was never really good at solving codes. Now that I know the symbols change, I feel dumb LOL. Another way you could have cracked it is if you wrote down the patterns every time and noticed they changed.
