Hey, i’m planning a vacation for the summer and hopefully outside of the US. What country, island, places would you guys recommend if i wanted to have as much dollar power and have a great time?
Note : great time = girls, party, alcohol. pretty self-explanatory
I’ve heard ppl say thailand, vietnam, china are good if hitting up Asia. Also, venezuela, brazil, and columbia if thinking about south america…the problem is, i really don’t know much about those countries mentioned…any tips would be appreciated.
How cheap? You can take a week long cruise leaving out of NJ/NY for $600-700 per person and it includes all your food but not alcohol. The plane ticket to the places you mentioned is going to cost the same as the cruise, and that doesn’t include anything.
Yeah…you need to define what cheap is. Cancun is pretty fun and most places are all inclusive. You can even pay 40 bucks at most bars and drink as much as you want all night. The hotels are all inclusive too which includes drinks and meals.
Ok, to be more specific, i don’t have an exact number in mind but i’m willing to spend up to $2000. Now, when i said cheap, i meant places where dollar would buy more than what they can buy in the states. So with the maximum 2000, where can i go to have the most purchasing power and enjoy?

Jamaica is nice too.
Or go somewhere that no one else goes, like Guam. I went there years ago and it wasn’t half bad.

For $2000 you can have a killer time in Mexico. My wife and I go to Cancun…it costs 3k for both of us (7 days) which includes food, alcohol, ride to/from the airport, and some other stuff. It’s nice getting there and not worrying about money.
I don’t think cheap and fun go together. I always have the best time when I blow all my money. I always wake up the next morning with a smile on my face.
