It boggles my mind that after the absolute atrocious failures of the last 8 years under Bush, that anyone would vote for him again…, er, I mean McCain.

I don’t know how many times I have to say that I do not support Mccain except as the only realistic alternative to a marxist enemy. By what law of logic does it follow that even if Bush has been every bit as bad as people say that nobody else could be worse?

Liberation theology including the James Cone brand enthusiastically espoused by Jeremiah Wright by name is not even vaguely historically Christian even in passing. It is radical leftist political ideology clumsily stamped with biblical terminology.
If McCain were ahead in the polls and totally tearing up Obama, you would be congratulating the press on their fine judgment and participation. Sounds like sour grapes.
Incorrect - I only congratulate the press when the press does a good job of being tenacious, independent, and even-handed. “Sour grapes” has nothing to do with it - the press has been horrible since the 1960s, no matter who wins the election.
And, no matter who wins the election, we are better served by a free press that can actually do a credible job - it improves the process, regardless of the victor.

I am well aware of the denials. The obvious problem with them is this. Obabma is 47 years old, if for the last 20 years he has been going to church that still leaves 27 years that he wasn’t going to church.
Obamas father was a muslim and when as a child he lived in Indonesia he went to the mosque with his stepfather. Obama never answers what his religion was for the 27 years before he started going to church. Obama being a muslim would explain why the nation of islam’ Louis Farrakhan would have introduced Obama to Al Mansour the Saudi who paid for Obama to go to Harvard.
The issue with Obama is this. Obama is a political chameleon, he makes whatever changes he needs to make so he appears more electable, but his real values he keeps hidden. His finding Christianity at 27 years of age is a good example.

“I’ve been a memeber of pastor Wright’s church for twenty years”.
I’m sure we all feel better about his faith now. Mainstream America, no doubt, embraces liberation theology and wants to join in on a chorus of “God Dam America”.
He belongs to a Black CHRISTIAN church, NOT Muslim. Attack Obama for belonging to a radical Black church, but stop looking like fools lying about him being a Muslim and then referencing Reverend Wright who is obviously not Muslim. Attacking Pastor Wright will only work against McCain. He will be taken as another White man attacking the Black church and their leaders. He is generating his own race card. Next he can attack Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton and alienate the handful of Black people that may vote for him. McCain needs the Black and Hispanic votes to win, not just the White people he speaks to.
Obama belonged to a church that is aligned with the nation of islam. Louis Farrakhan is friends with Rev. Wright. When Wright became a liability Obama kicked his ass to the curb, at least in public. Which shows the lengths Obama will publicly go to in order to manipulate his image.
Modern politics is all about image management. Obama has been a very manipulative image manager who has made big changes in his beliefs in order to keep pushing up his popularity. I don’t believe that much of his current image is the real Obama.
To me, at this point, I hate to say it but FUCK religion. Whether a radical Muslim or radical Christian…what’s the difference ? One is not better than the other, but some may think so.
I want to know how the hell we get out of this economic mess, what is the real exit strategy for Iraq, the plan for alternative energy and how the hell am I going to afford higher education for my children.
I will find out when I die if my religion matters. No one alive knows the true answer, so stop pushing any religious views, whether radical or peaceful, on me at this point ( not talking to anyone specific, but more on the matter of the candidates and any religious views they have or any of their friends).
Image manipulation is another matter, but isn’t that part of politics ? I mean, admit it, both candidates want to win, so image manipulation, no matter how subtle, is a big strategic part of any campaign.

Guilty by association? Is Hannity antisemitic?
That’s how election campaigns have been run in the US since the whole process started.
I don’t understand how the fence riders can ignore 200 years of history in an effort to act like they are above the fray.
It’s presidential politics. It will not change.
You’re right, it’s always been this way. We’re dealing with the here and now… who is pulling the trigger now? Why?
How did you feel watching that video? Do you think Hannity is antisemitic? I guess when Obama and McCain were chosen by their respective parties I thought, just for a second mind, things might be different.
I guess Peggy Noonan said it well:
MS. PEGGY NOONAN: You know what, this has been a long campaign. We are in the last month. It is still close. Whoever??s rising or, or, or falling, it??s really close. And some part of me fears they??re going to open up the gates of hell on this one. It seems to me there is trench warfare out there. The left??there??s a huge middle in America, but there??s a left. They think they??re going to win, and they??re getting meaner than ever. The right fears they??re going to lose, they??re getting meaner than ever. I would hate to see this descend into this, this????I??ll kill??I??ll tear your throat out?? kind of stuff. I think that would be harmful. I think we are at a unique and dangerous…
…moment in history, and it??s the last thing we need. And I don??t speak as a sissy; I??m trying to speak as an adult.
…
MS. NOONAN: Can I make a point, also, that I think part of the reason this is going to get so rough in the next month, trying to get my, my hands around this thing, is that we live in the age of political strategists. We live in the age of the guys on the plane. We live in the age of the BlackBerry guys saying, ??Let??s get them this way. Let??s get them this way.?? It exists on both campaigns, the instinct, ??Hey, we have nothing to do now but go to, to the jugular.?? I have the sense sometimes lately that these guys on the plane think history is their plaything. History is not their plaything. This is big. This is a nation having two ground wars and an economic recession??we hope just a mild recession. This is not a time for playfulness and mischief. It ain??t right.
Tom, also there??s something that we all know, and it??s in the back of our minds but we don??t quite think of it enough, and it is this: We are living in the age of the unknowable, of weapons of mass destruction, of crazy people who can get and harness these things and who can come and hurt us. When you??you don??t want to be dark and you don??t want to be preoccupied, but when you keep your mind on that fact and that we may in our country face difficult days ahead, and even immediately ahead, when you keep your mind on that, you realize, whoa, this old partisan gamesmanship, this ??tear out his throat,?? all of that stuff, it??s over, it??s yesterday. What we need now is grace. We need real patriotism, which patriotism isn??t used as a weapon in a campaign. Patriotism actually needs grace in order to function. We got to be our best selves right now. We got to hit our game in a higher way. We got to be forbearing. We got to be adults. I sometimes think one of the problems in America is there are too many people that don??t want to embrace the role of the simple grown-up and show the maturity and forbearance of a grown-up.

THIS is the thing that pisses me off the most.
We have become a nation of untolerant illegal aliens. A nation of “I IS OWED”. A Nation of REVERSE discrimination. A Nation where responsible people are raped financially, and where losers are praised and given money because they don’t apply themselves. A Nation of pussies.
I am truly afraid for this country. Ayers wanted to overthrow capitalism. Obabma wants Socialism. He all but said hes a socialist on FOX!!!
He’s studied Marx and has admired socialism throughout his life and seems to have all these associations to questionable people and terrorists.
I predict that if he’s elected…it won’t last long, and things will be worse in 2 years…much worse.
Raising taxes on small business SLOWS the economy. The employers who create jobs will cut back and we will see MORE unemployment.
When’s the last time a poor man offered you a good job??
Tax cuts for 95%??? dO YOU ALL REALIZE THAT THIS IS NOTHING MORE THAN A CHECK TO YOU FOR 500-700 BUCKS and not an actual tax break? It’s selective discrimination, socialism and so against the principles of this country.

I don’t listen/watch/pay any attention to Sean Hannity. His opinions on anything are not worth a square of toilet paper in my book.
So why would I take the time to watch his video, or waste the time it takes to comment on it?
I did hear Noonan bashing Palin, or the choosing of Palin when Noonan thought she was not miked.
