Changing Language Of MSN Messenger

Hi,

My computer was given to me by the school I work at…the language installed is Chinese (which I don’t read).

I’ve changed a LOT of things to English, however, I just downloaded MSN messenger…and it’s in Chinese (of course it went to chinamsn.com). I am unable to read how to change the language preference.

Can anyone help me with this? I need to change it.

Thanks,
TB

Why dont you change languages altogether? If you dont need the chinese anymore change the whole system language to English.
(I think its all in the “regional settings” or something to that effect in the control panel. There’s a languages tab inside that. Switch it to english and you may have to install the lang pack for that I dunno.)

IF you want to keep it half Chinese, then can you go back to add/remove programs and remove it? then, go to msn.com manually and download it?

I’m not running Windows anymore otherwise I could be more specfic, sorry.

The bitch of it is that my hotmail account is in English (as is my MSN homepage), however when Downloading MSN Messenger, it goes automatically to ChinaMSN.com. I try different ways (Google search for direct link, etc), and it is always the same…

See what I mean?

What does it say in IE, under Tools | Internet Options | Languages… ? Does it have “English” at the top?

IF it does, where are you physically located? Who’s your ISP?

Yes. You should now be allowed to access and download the English version of MSNM.
