Alright alright I’ll read the rest. It’s just that as soon as this guy started on what appeared to be the beginning of a criticism of an “evangelical” booklet admonishing believers to essentially find ignorant, lazy uninformed Catholics as targets of their evangelism. I reject that whole approach and didn’t see any point in pursuing what looked like another campaign against something I do not believe. Just like the vortex guy.

.
Happy birthday 'Merika!
I bought a can of Cope just for today, and filled my coolers full of red, white, and blue Budweiser cans. I also have a stock-aid of fireworks that would make a suicide bomber nervous that I’ll be shooting off for the neighborhood.
Happy birthday, and I pray God has mercy on our unrepentance.

Ok, I read around this Vandapool guy’s site for like the last 45 minutes. I had a fairly long response to the piece you linked, but decided not to post it because I don’t have the time to challenge anyone and more importantly I felt that old immature prideful me trying to claw His way back out as I found myself licking my chops and cracking my knuckles. What an ignorant mildly entertaining clown LOL! I kept the post in case I change my mind which would take some time in prayer.

I am sure.

There is not one single Catholic in this earth including Ratzinger I want as anything other than my brother or sister in Christ. However, when Jesus Christ descends from heaven with a shout that disgusting temple of baal is going up in flames in the blast of His nostrils. Yes I can hold firmly to both of those and your unwillingness to accept that is not my fault.
Brother Chris wrote:

I go over there and here is this arrogant dismissive goofball peddling in a veritable cornucopia of caricatured misinformation and falsehood. Forget “low hanging fruit”, that would be an achievement for this guy. The fruit he’s lambasting is rotting all over the ground. He needs a bonk on the noggin from somebody with a bit of spiritual muscle. Just like captain vortex over there. I’m just not sure I’m the one to do it. It’s tough enough on me dealing with you guys over here. His personality is too much like mine. I’d have to be continuously hanging around the neck of Jesus to keep from turning the mini gun his way.

Okay, I’m ignoring the second half of your post. You really think I go…every single day…to worship Ba’al? That is what you think?

I don’t believe you believe you’re doing that. Do you even know what a burden is? Do you understand what I mean when I say that the Lord has burdened me for you? It means I long and ache to see Him move mightily in your life. It hurts, but it is my joy and my great privilege to hold you up to my Father in prayer. You HATE when I talk like this I know you do, but I’m telling you my friend from the depths of my heart that’s not why I do it. It’s not. You are part of a package of trials I’m in the middle of and probably will be for a while. Some parts are very personal and extremely trying (you have absolutely no idea). I may even tell you about them which would make everything I’ve trusted you with to this point seem trivial by comparison.
If you only knew how badly I don’t want to be believe that my whole Catholic family on my mother’s side is in hell. Not because they were Catholics, but because they were lost in sin and the false gospel of Rome rather than saving them only served to confirm them in their sin. It is a house of idolatry Chris. Not because of the this or that doctrine in particular, but the whole thing on every level. I believe you are seeking God there. I’m watching your conscience mature and I really believe He is going to meet you, even there. When he does it’ll have little or nothing to do with me but He is gonna take you outta there even if it requires an apocalyptic disaster in your life to do it. Unfortunately I also think it’ll take a decade or two.
You won’t like the last half of my post any better than the first. I will not be dishonest with you in an effort to be on your good side.
Rome doesn’t teach a false gospel. It teaches a true gospel, and it produced the Canon of Scripture.
It gave the world the Canon of Scripture (which includes part of the Gospel) in the Council of Rome 382, that Canon was then ratified in the Council of Hippo in 393 and the Council of Carthage of 397. Those Councils were held by the Catholic Bishops of the Catholic Church. It was then articulated a second time in 1546 by…Catholic Bishops of the Catholic Church.

Just like Israel who rejected the scriptures and covenants entrusted to her.

So, you’re saying that Jesus lied in Mt 16:18.
So, you’re saying that Jesus lied in Mt 16:18.
I am witnessing the truth of the Lord’s words exactly IN His rejection of Rome as the fountain of falsehood that she is Chris. One day it’s going to dawn on you that “hey, Trib doesn’t believe this church is related to God in any way except as an enemy”. She has no divine authority, she has no divine power, she has no wisdom and she has NOTHING she claims. She is a lying thief who has stolen what belongs to God alone for herself and her legions of heartbreaking superstitious spiritual zombies are the greatest evidence.
If that thing in Rome actually were the bride of Christ? THEN HE WOULD be lying because the gates of hell prevailed against whatever that became centuries and centuries ago. His true bride is not headquartered in a building ANYWHERE Chris. I would be lying myself when I tell you how much you mean to me if I did not tell you the truth.

So…that would be a yes.
I found a wonderful speech by the Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. The speech is on Our Lady, the Blessed Mother.
The reason why we have a male only priesthood:
I have a question. Is Judas in Hell? On the one hand, Judas committed more than enough sins to earn a one-way ticket (betraying Jesus, suicide) however, this was all pre-destined by God and prophesied by Jesus, so for God to send Judas to Hell would mean that he created Judas specifically with the intention of having him suffer in Hell for all eternity (not exactly “all loving”), so he must be in Heaven, right?
On the other hand, If God allows those who are predestined to sin into Heaven, then he must allow everyone as 1) all things are part of God’s plan, and 2) God is omniscient, therefore all our actions are foreknown and predestined.
So, Is Judas in Heaven or Hell?
TigerTime wrote:

One cannot say of individuals if they are in Hell. It is of higher things. However, speculation that he is in hell wouldn’t be far amiss, though he could been forgiven of his sins before his death.
Thought you said you had ‘a’ question?
Suicide is not necessarily a mortal sin. Many martyrs for the faith committed suicide, although they did so in the case of staying pure for Jesus. The church has realized in recent times that those who commit suicide are not always of the mental capacity to make suicide a mortal sin.
God does not predestine evil (because double-predestination is a heresy), he can produce a great good out of evil, but never is evil predestined in order to create a greater good.
Not necessarily, because as I pointed out that God does not predestine evil, he allows it, and he creates a greater good out of it. Never wills it.

No one is predestined to sin, they live in a fallen nature (except our Holy Mother), but God does not predestine them to sin.
He does not allow everyone into Heaven, that is the doctrine of Universal Salvation and that is a heresy, as well. His plan is salvation, his will is for us to do good (which leads us to salvation). God knowing does not mean he predestines, at least not in these sense of double predestination.
Alright, but there’s a problem here. God knows everything, yes? Does that not mean he has known our ultimate fate (Heaven or Hell) Since the beginning of time? If he knows this, then by creating these people he is ensuring they spend an eternity in Hell, if he doesn’t (know this) then he isn’t omniscient.
Is God omniscient?
