Carb Intake while on Cypionate?

Ill start off by saying im 30 average guy going on my 5th week of first cycle 400mg Cypionate a week. So far results have been good in strength and muscle gains. Before my cycle i did not lift very often 2-3 times a week. Since on my cycle ive been hitting it 7 days a week 1 hour training 20 min Cardio. The only problem i have is what is the proper dieting routine. even though ive gained quite a bit in size i still have alot of belly fat and chest fat. I have spent alot of time on the internet reading up on dieting but i cant seem to figure out a proper plan of attack for melting the fat away so i can see the results of my muscle gains.

Current diet is: Protein 200g Carb 80g Sugar 20g. The only supplement im taking on top is Muscle milk 3 scoops a day. Someone mentioned to get all my carbs from stricly veggies and others have said oatmeal, whole wheat. so the views have been mixed any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

there’s no way you got as fat as that eating 80g of carbs a day, unless you are eating a TON of fat.

Something is very wrong here.

little to no fat in my diet but you have to keep in mind i weighed 250 pounds in Novemeber of 2013 and ive dropped down to 198 as of today. I just have alot of flab in my stomach lovehandles and chest area.

Congratulations on dropping down from 250, but you are way fatter in your June pic than your May pic, so what gives?

I do 20 mins daily and im sitting around 15%, for your % I would say do at least an hour of fasted cardio as soon as you wake up. You should not be looking into let alone taking AAS with your knowledge and understanding of nutrition and training.

Have a small amount of oatmeal (50-100g) in the morning with your breakfast, get the majority of your carb intake through veggies (brocoli/asparagus are nutrient dense so are always a good choice). Get your fats up, because your on lower carbs you need higher fats as fuel (good fats: Certain nuts, avocado, coconut oil.) If you pan fry your protein sources use coconut oil. Although Baking, steaming and BBQ/Grilling is more favorable. Protein about the same.

Get rid of that 20g sugar it will do nothing but slow your progress down, only when you are at a lower BF % then fast sugars can be used post workout only.

Train 6 Days P/W, Three day split (Push/pull/legs) with a rest day in between where you do an extra 45min cardio in the evening.

This is just my 0.02, take it or leave it. It works very well with my clients.

I appreciate the feedback… My doctor put me on the Cypionate Which i was hesitant at first but ive done many research papers for medical school and the pros out weight the cons from my view. aside from my weight training ive been doing 45min of cardio after each lifting session. 2 years ago i was prescribed a medication that rapidly lowered my metabolism and made me go from 170 to 250 very quickly.

ive been off this medication since Oct 2013 and thats why ive dropped so much weight current weight is 198. Ill post the pick of me at 250 and current so you can see what im talking about. the first picture i posted was from say 1 of cycle and 4th week into cycle. I do eat healthy i guess my only downfall is when to eat certain foods and at which times. Thanks again.

Thanks i feel better at 198 then 250 what i should have done is posted before and after from 250 to 198. The original picture i posted was from day 1 of cycle - 4th week of cycle. My doctor prescibed cycle has had quite the positive impact in my life. I feel good, and of course im lifting more then i could before off cycle. My only donwfall is not eating healthy but knowing when to eat and how much to eat through the day.
