Don’t know if anyone is willing to answer, but…
I read some of his articles where he summarizes back loading. Gives an if you workout in the morning/evening scenario and diet plan. Looks like there is no IF. On the forum for his website, a lot of the users, if not all, discuss using it in an IF protocol.
In the book, does he discuss both? Is it an IF plan or 5-6 meals a day plan?

If you have 10 minutes to spare and want to be in constant pain for it:
To quote Kiefer
"He doesn’t understand that resistance training causes GLUT4 (and other GLUTs) to translocate to the surface of the cell without insulin and in-spite-of insulin sensitivity, high or low. Resistance training allows muscles to absorb all the glucose they want, even if you don’t have a pancreas to produce insulin in the first place. This is the absolute most basic principle of Carb Back-Loading. If you can’t understand this, you shouldn’t write article about it, for or against.
To me, this guy appears to be a hack trainer trying to capitalize on people doing Google searches for Carb Back-Loading."

Secondly, he keeps calling it glut translation…wtf is that. It’s TRANSLOCATION… If you are going out of your way to make a video that debunks a physiological phenomena…wouldn’t you make sure you could pronounce the said physiological phenomena properly? [/quote]
I cant watch the video because work blocks you tube but there is such a thing as translation. The proteins must be translated and then assembled. Then they translocate. But in backloading kiefer is talking about translocation. So i have no idea what the video is about just thoguht i would share that tidbit. (of course that is overly simplified)
dude looks like the situation
does the book cover alot more that is necessary to know besides what we can find on his site about backloading?

I guess that’s why it works so well right?
I’ve tried several diets in the past 5 years (used to weigh 200 lbs, with no weight training experience and very little muscle). This diet has worked the best for me, and I compete in a weight dependent sport. Did I mention many of the professional fighters I train with follow a similar approach as well?
It works and that’s what matters
