Captives Whom Your Right Hands Possess

And my agenda would be…?

I’m curious to know how you perceive it.

(Sorry if this turns up as a double post. I got logged off somehow when I hit ‘submit.’)

Right. The issue is not whether one is a ‘fundamentalist,’ but what the ‘fundamentals’ are and whether or not they’re true. I agree with every article in the Bill of Rights. I am a ‘fundamentalist,’ but I also believe the ‘fundamentals’ are true.

PRCalDude, perhaps you consider it your personal mission to make us all aware of the dangers of complacency in the face of advancing Islamism. All right, I respect that. You’re the Anti-Islamist guy. I get it.
It’s not really so much that as the inconsistency of your various posts between Christianity and Islam. You’ll regularly take pot-shots at Christianity, and have in the past even broken out Scripture to advance some of your arguments about it. But when it comes to me doing the same with Islam (and I don’t interpret it myself, I borrow the Muslims’ own interpretations), I’m accused of being a hater of some type. I put Qur’anic citations up as evidence of Islamic faith and practice and it’s derided. Lixy does it, and you believe him.

You mentioned that the Qur’an is being used to justify violent behavior of late. The reality is that OBL cites the rulings of 13th century Hanbali jurist Ibn Taymiyya to motivate his followers and the Ummah generally. Not only is Ibn Taymiyya’s opinion regarding jihad as “warfare for the spread of religion” consistent with the rest of the Hanbali school, but it is consistent with Maliki, Shafi’i and Hanafi schools as well. In fact, before 9/11, OBL was very careful to make sure he had issued the da’wa to the US in accordance with the rulings of all 4 Schools before he actually engaged in jihad. Ahmedinejad has issued the da’wa in consistency with Shi’a Islam, and soon he will commence his jihad as well.

Meanwhile, we’ve seen Judenhass rallies from the ‘pro-Palestinian’ side all over the West for the past 3 weeks, which we’ve been documenting in partiality on the ‘Nuke, Nuke Israel!’ thread. Synagogues have been defaced and firebombed. The media has barely even covered it, but they have covered the treatment of the ‘poor Palestinians’ against the Nazi Jooos. It’s 1938 all over again. I’m convinced. It’s been a long time without a bench-clearing war, and there’s no reason to believe man has fundamentally progressed since 1945 when we had another stack of millions of dead bodies of mostly non-Jews.

History tells me the scoffers end up being the Chamberlains. I rather hope I’m smart enough to end up in the Churchill camp.

Well, I don’t have such a big problem with his posts so much as I think he’s overstating his argument, and being more acerbic than perhaps he needs to. You and I can disagree about, say, abortion, but we can do it civilly, and upon discussion, find that we may have more common ground than either of us previously thought.

With PR, he’s a smart guy, and he knows his stuff, but there’s no latitude for discussion with him, as GDollars mentioned. It’s one of the biggest problems I have with fundamentalists of all stripes: there is only one truth, and disagreement with any of their points, or not sharing their fervor, puts you irrevocably in the opposite camp.

I certainly admire his zeal, but trying to have any sort of discourse with him feels like banging against a brick wall sometimes.
PR is awesome, I hope he never stops posting. It’s crazy posts like his that keep me coming back to PWI. Where else could I read posts about Obama’s dad “not really looking like him, like” or “Michelle Obama hates whites!!!” I hope that guy never stops posting. PR is the kind of guy who would read a thousand websites and study a textbook for weeks, but would never take the time to get to know an actual person…or at leasat that’s how his online persona comes off.

It’s been something else to watch where the outrage is directed, while the practices and the persecution portrayed in the opening post are largely ignored. Who the heck do you people think you’re defending? It damn sure isn’t these women, and so many more like them.

Keep it up with the “racism!” whining.

Exactly. Ignore the victims, keep pining over how the attackers are perceived - very masculine ethic.

Mate, you’re already prolific as hell. What’s your average, 2 or 3 “I hate homo-islamists” threads per week? I love keeping your threads alive. Tell us all about “Homosexualist” again!

And who is whining? I love your posts; I want you to post more shit like this. Now that the election is over, I miss your “Obama is a RACIST!!!” posts, bring those back, baby!

This is ironic considering how many people held vigils for the poor zionist IDFs that slaughtered thousands of palestines a few weeks ago. The discrepancy between how the U.S. media portrayed the massacre vs. how the rest of the world reported was pretty astounding.

I guess that explains Austrian patriotism.

Well, mate, if you want to learn about homosexualists, you’ll have to read(gasp!) forlife’s threads. Talk about 2-3 per week.

Since Obama’s been elected, I see no more reason to post on his racialism or his pastor’s black supremacist and anti-semitic kookery. He’s my president - I’m behind him 110%.

Well, I suppose there’s that. But being behind the president isn’t nearly as funny as claiming the candidate’s wife “hates whites” …I’m just sayin’

Seriously though, the more rants the better.
