Feels like it. Been going well since coming back from my back injury. Haven’t gotten any taller lol but gains have been good so I’ll take the title of big fella.

I’ve pausing squatting bigger weights than ever to make u proud, Bench is better but still meh and deadlifted 270kg for a dub with the meme/bumper plates.

So everything’s back in lock down, finally decided to order my own basic equipment as Them gyms in Melbourne are closed again.


Barbell got delivered today :grin:

They haven’t shipped the rack yet but I still need to clean out the garage to get it in there.

Friday work out:
RDLs: 5 @ 120,140,160kg
20 @ 120kg
Sumo DLs (speed work): 3x10 @120kg
BOR (supinated grip): 15 @ 60kg
2x10 @ 80kg
OHP (cleaned from ground): 3x10 @ 50kg

Notes:
More of a play around with the bar and weight set (new toys are fun)
Will try and sort out the garage over the weekend so the rack can go straight in when it comes.

Where u getting ur stuff? U need anything else? If u need extra MA1 is constant prpducing new plates in state. $5/kg cast iron

I picked them up through samsfitness.
Got them as part of a set, so pretty well priced.
It’s pretty hard to find weight equipment at the moment, everythings sold out/goes out within an hour of being up for sale again.

Pause DLs: 3 @ 140,160,170kg
Snatch grip DLs: 3x10 @ 120kg
BOR (supinated grip): 3x15 @ 60kg
Push ups: 3x30 @ BW

Accessory:
Face pulls and curls (with band, unknown resistance)

Notes:
Am really looking forward to having a rack set up so I can squat or press.
Even though things are pretty basic, I’m really enjoying the lifting at the moment.
As a suprise to nobody, the garage did not get sorted out lol

3x3 @ 140kg (30 second breaks)
OHP: 2x12 @ 50kg

Accessory:
Face pulls, plate lateral raises and BW squats.

Notes:
So it hasn’t been long since I got back on the barbell band wagon and already I can feel the gains haha joking aside it’s amazing how much of a mental boost lifting things can give.
Was actually a bit worried about pulling 180kg off the floor (it’s been a while) but it moved pretty smooth.

It was untill half way through and I remembered my cardiovascular fitness is terrible.

Monday work out:
Sumo DLs: 3x4 @ 180kg
BOR (supinated): 4x15 @ 60kg
OHP: 10 @ 40,50,55kg

Notes:
So been trying out sumo DLs to work my quads a bit more till I’m able to get the rack set up. (I say rack but if I’m being technical it’s actually squat stands because a rack Doesn’t fit).
Weight all moved well, starting to get sore hands from holding a barbell so often lol i need to toughen up.
It’s also looking like I’ll be out of work at the end of this week (new restrictions come onto place Friday midnight)

Goblet squats: 3x20 @ 20kg (20kg plate)

Accessory:
Lateral raises, curls, tricep extensions and face pulls.

Notes:
So as of today, I’m on a 6 week holiday lol got to love the lock down.
Things moved well, back feels pretty pumped (or I’ve got a recent case of ILS).
