Hah, so it shouldāve!
And nah Wambat, Buckie-pee runs clear round these parts.
This is my Cecil Brunner rose. It is gorgeous. The great thing about this rose is that is still has that great rose smell. Unfortunately a lot of modern roses do not have the great smell of flowers. They are bred for blooms and not for essence. Now, this rose bush is old and wonderful. What you cant see is that next to it is a lilac bush ready bloom on the left and on the right is a dwarf lemon tree full of fruit. So great is when the lilac is blooming, the cecil is in full bloom and then the lemon tree and my gosh the front yard just smells so great.

Loch Achray of the Trossachs of Stirlingshire, Scotland.
Slight colour and light re-touching as it was taken with a Sony K810i camera-phone.

My cousin and I went from Glasgow to The Munroes back in July and went past some beautiful lochsā¦and I seem to remember Stirling being on the way. Do you think it was this one??

Oh hard to say bud, quite a few big lochs near Stirling; Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine, Loch Voil nevermind the numerous small lochs and reservoirs like the one above. Scotlandās riddled with them!
Loch Achry has two ranges, Ben Aāan to the north and Ben Venue to the west while the south is forested with loads of cycling/hiking trails, you may have passed a Go Ape centre on your way in.
But I think it more likely you hit one of the larger lochs. Any pics? ![]()
Hereās the thread I started about my trip:

Hmm that could be Loch Katrine but hard to say from that angle. Iām no expert on Scottish lochs though, one of the other Scots here might recognise that peak in the top left. ![]()
