Honestly…can you beat a shrimp stir fry served with Pendleton whiskey and Sunday Night Football (including Faith Hill in her lil black dress)?
I should be clear…when I say the left side I mean the left side of that particular escalator…not the other set which is the descending one.[/quote]
So… just to clarify, can you charge ahead on the escalator if you are walking, or do you mean folks stand aside so you can run up the stairs?
How long does it take you to get to work?
Is the car situation like in New York?

What I mean is that an escalator stair is wide enough for 2 people, so if people want to stand still and ride up, they must keep right. Those people were lined up so they could all keep right. I walked up on the left which was wiiiiide open.
I have a video from a department store and people were lined up about 20 or 30 long out the door in order to use the elevator. The sign said it was about a 15 minute wait too! Also the department store is only 7 or 8 stories at that!
Here’s a pic of my dad (in the background, behind my hipster buddy)…you may know my father from such movies as “Superman” (as Lex Luthor) and “Hoosiers” (as coach Dale)
Yes I’m extremely interested in that jambalaya recipe. I’m known @ the tailgate for my dutch oven jambalaya but that sounds and looks absolutely amazing.
The key is not to let the water get too low because the next step is adding the uncooked rice
which absorbs most of the water. Typically adding a 1 cup less rise than water keeps it balanced but as you add the rice leave some excess moisture. If it gets too dry before rice is cooked, just add a little more water and cook until rice is tender. Enjoy!
Being wild turkey, I should not have browned it and just added it raw with the browned sausage. The lean turkey got a little rubbery from over cooking. Also, I had cooked a gumbo where I had boiled chicken to loosen from the bone and make stock to add to the gumbo. I used it instead of water with bouillon cubes but either will work. You could easily substitute any poultry and sausage combo. You can also affect the healthiness with the type and amount of oil/grease/lard used to brown the meat and vegetables. I have had it at a pig roast where is kind of tickled your throat it was so smooth - I am sure it was from using hog lard or more fat but hey I figure it is better than hydro-phospholated-teriray-saturated vegetable oil or some equivalent but don’t eat it too often like that.
Let me know how it turns out or any spins you put on it.
