When it’s that cold it doesn’t snow much. If it does it is extremely dry snow with hardly any moisture content at all.
We ended up with about a foot today but temp stayed in the +20s all day. Hunting should be good tomorrow and get even better as the temps drop over the next few days. Cold makes the deer and elk have to hang out in the open during the daytime and eat instead of hiding in the timber and grazing at night.[/quote]
