Beer and wine? I can’t help ya. I love a good merlot at these places. Grape soda?[/quote]

Iced Tea plain and on ice.

During the recent cruise I had 3 black outs in a 6 day period.

I am right at 40, need to let the liver and brain have a little break from the Alcohol.

Moderation I am not good at that.

Just gorge on food and leave no room.

And a pic for themes sake.

Dude - I hear you. You are not alone. On a business trip to Philly in 2010, a buddy and I drank over $150 worth of beer in a Cardinals-Phillies game and trip to an Irish Pub. When I did my expense report, I told him I didn’t know if we should be proud or ashamed!!!

Moderation does not come easy for me either. My best success is hyper-focus on a few tasks.

Lake Chapala at sunset

Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan

Pyramid of the Moon shot from the top of the Pyramid of the Sun.

(that’s a lot of fricking steps to climb at altitude, the day after competing in the Mexican National BJJ Championships.)

How’d you do cockney? that sounds pretty awesome

I took Bronze (in a very shallow purple division) was last year.

I have been to a few of the pyramids, the wife is Mexican.

It is very hot and humid, if you are not used to it, you will be miserable.

Plus yes its always busy during the summer months.

That and Machu Picchu are on my bucket list, I don’t mind heat but the humidity will be a killer. Guess it will have to be a Spring or Autumn trip.

If you can hit Jan or Feb would be the best time. High 80’s low 90’s during the day 60’s at night. Perfect time to go.

Cool, thanks.

Hopefully in the next 2-5 years I’ll be in the position for such a trip.

Humidity is not normally a problem any time of the year at Teotihuacan. High altitude. It gets fricking hot in the middle of the day though and there are lots and lots and lots of steps even to get to the base of the pyramid, given the altitude it’s a killer if you are not used to it. Go early in the morning and you miss the crowds and also the heat pretty much any time of the year. Those photos were taken in November.

Really cool site. One really cool thought if you do ever visit is that the Tower of London in the UK was built only a couple of hundred years later.

On my way back from lunch had a cop stop traffic and heard a blast horn with a construction sight up in front of me, so I recorded a video.
