LOKTAR, motherfucker!

Don’t act like you haven’t thought about rolling an ally just to see the Worgen. I’m ashamed to admit it, but that race has me thinking of getting back into it just to try the lycanthrope thing.
Nope no desire to ever roll ally again. Haven’t since vanilla. I’m excited about the goblin, it gives a pvp equivalent to the gnome and making it easier to be all sneaky like. But like I said I’m refusing to buy cata and not reopening this addiction.

Exactly what I’m thinking right now.

I played WoW off and on since vanilla. I was always pretty big into PvP.

Then Wotlk came, and in season 5 (6? Whichever furious was) I got 2350 in 2v2, 2500 in 3v3 and 2700 in 5v5 and got Duelist.

Haven’t played since.

Yeah I’m bitter.

Plus I hear that rogues have a heal now and…fuck that.

…? lol

That’s me for 3.

In Wrath it was “Oh my God! There are people in this party not at full health I only have two seconds to get them to full health or they die!!!”. Now it’s more like “okay. . . who to heal first. . .”
Seriously?

That sounds a whole lot less stressful…

Kind of, however the big issue now is starting to be running OOM if you make poor choices about healing. It used to be that you would just spam your big heals, now you actually have to ensure you pick the right heals. Plus as a healer I’m learning to let dps die when they draw aggro, it’s fine if they get caught in something unavoidable but when it’s just them not watching threat I don’t have the HPS or the Mana to keep DPS who draw aggro alive.

If the tank dies it’s the healer’s fault
If the healer dies it’s the tank’s fault
If the DPS die it’s their own damn fault.

I used to chant that when I tanked but it applies when I heal too. lol

I love that the game has gone back to this, it brings personal responsibility back. Nothing aggravated me more than a DPS deciding it would be cool to nuke whatever the tank isn’t targeting and then going “l2p tank gg” when they die.

Yeah, I’m trying to get in the habit of letting the DPS die when I heal, unless it’s unavoidable damage. As a healer though it’s pretty easy to tell the difference between melee who got caught in fire for two or three seconds and melee who drew aggro and are getting beat on and the latter are starting to get ignored.

It’s pretty funny too watching dps who’ve never had to CC or watch the AoE because of cc’d targets before. Again, they’re dying a lot.

Realistically tanks now can hold threat on one target easily but the AoE threat sucks so kill order suddently matters again.

It’s awesome!

I quit after bc then came back for wrath cleared nax and quit the game for over year came back and played for 2 weeks and havnt played since.

Wow is a great game but it just got easier and easier as the game developed which was a massive turn off for me.

The clips look great but ill never play the game again

I had a 80 hunter,pally,druid and a lvl 40 war

No longer can you claim it is easy.

I only played for a couple of months this past August, and September. Ended up with a level 80 fury warrior. I didn’t much care for the face rolling, or the gold grinding. It seemed like an alright game for the first while. I just found the level 80 rat wheel to be a little tedious.

Holy shit, was that awesome. All I can say is that someone must be nerdier than all of us combines to have made that. And I’d like to shake his hand.

What can you guys tell me about DKs, Rogues, Worgen, or any other new nerfs/buffs?
Dks are retarded as usual. Rogs are kinda like sitting ducks now. Worgen are nifty and would make great fury wars, but other than that, id prefer to not start over. Practically everyone was debuffed, to compensate for the huge increase from items.

Early game expansion = Substitute all your stats for Sta. Blizzard removed Gem slots from all early expansion items because they know people are stupid and would gem the first shit they got, even tho itd be replaced in 10min. PSST, fyi dont enchant shit either!

the new zones are pretty cool, including cinematic cut scenes and what not. The several hour ceasefire between Horde/alliance has ended (on my server atleast). Bam, the new expansion in a nutshell
Stupid not to gem and enchant, I mean if you know you’re upgrading THAT DAY, go ahead and skip it. But seriously, it’s not like gold is hard to come by. Blizzard WANTS you to gem out your shit, because gold sinks are necessary. Early gear is always short on gem slots, if you’ve played at all in the last 4 years you’d know that. It’s all about ilevel budget.

if you’re bright enough to buy enchants every time you find a new piece of armor when you arent 85 yet and are picking your new items up via quests, you Fail at common sense.

becuase you WILL be upgrading armor every day through quests- thats the point of the quest lines leading you to new areas. Everytime you finish a zone’s quests, you get a final quest that takes you to a new area, where the mobs are inevitably harder and the gear is equally better. If you’re enchanting greens, mineswell start destroying gold for funsies.

Both of you fail really. One of you is talking about quest items and not enchanting them (which you shouldn’t), the other is talking about raid and heroic loot and enchanting that (which you should).

Wires crossed much?

Anyone playing SC2? 'Cuz I’m pretty addicted right now, watching some English commentary on the GSL Starcraft 2 league going on in Korea…

Thought i would post this here. Very funny shit. I love the change in music from funeral to incoming alliance hahaha

This is also great…
