Kal is a good dog too. He really wants to please me which is strange to see in a dog. Nicest personality of any dog I ever had.

Hey PX, just a recommendation on a free treat that all dogs absolutely love. If you know ANYONE who shoes/trims horses ask them to save you some hoof trimming, it is like crack for dogs man. And you in TX they will be dry enough that they wont dirty up the house. Awesome looking dog, good luck to both of yall.

X, I’ve been looking into rescuing a dog and in my research, I’ve found that A, dogs seem to do much better if they’re highly socialized (lots of people, other dogs, animals, environments, etc). Also, regarding how you mention it seems like he wants to please you, I’ve been doing some reading on rescue dogs specifically and it seems as if most people find that rescue dogs are more eager to please. Considering dogs are pretty damn good at being able to sense when something’s up (ie, being on death row), it makes sense that removing that threat would make them love you even more.
