I find this statement to be erroneous, and is an over generalization.
I expect you to take it back~
This may look bad, but at least they are putting an iota of effort into it.
I now must admit- I walk my dog on a treadmill.
Update
Koda gets fixed and chipped on Tuesday next week.
PX is able to pick him up that afternoon since he has been approved as adoptive owner.

Make sure you get a pic with you, PX, and Koda with a shoe in his mouth so we can assess the three of your bodyfats.

I donāt understand why people dump their pets. Sweet ones too. Surely they can find a friend, relative, coworker or if all else fails a shelter.
I remember I found a dog just out on the street. Had a nasty sore on itās neck where it looked like a chain was rubbing all against it. And this dog looked so innocent and street retarded. I know he wouldnāt last more than a month out their. For only god knows the reason, I got out of my car and with the dog following me ringing doorbells to figure out some information like where he belonged and whatnot. I made signs and posted them all around the block where I found him. I even took him to a shelter to so they could take pictures of him and write up a description of him in case the previous owners called in.
Couldnāt find out anything so I had him hop in my car and took him home. He was shaking like a leaf but seemed to trust me. I almost thought about keeping him but he was annoying the tar out of my dog and hence me so I started looking around for people to take him and low and behold my neighbor, best friend at the time, decided to take him in. I still got to see him for a few months and so did my dog! My dog liked him but only in small doses lol. And there were too many dogs back at home where my folks were which is where I was going when I graduated.
I think a lot of them get loose and then just sort of goober along until theyāve gotten too far from home for their people to find them. I had a lab at one time who was apparently able to open our gate at will, so when he got bored heād go off adventuring in the neighborhood. People knew where he lived and would return him. We had no idea it was going on until we got home one day and no dog. Found him at the shelterā¦heād gone a little further than usual and someone who didnāt recognize him (big, pretty dog) called Animal Control. We fixed the gate and it stopped.
Anyway, friendly dogs can get more aggressive about escape when another dog comes along and plays through the fence, neighbor kids let them out to play sometimes and canāt get them back into the yard, dogs wait for little kids to open house doors and then go charging out into the world to play, etc.
I think itās mostly not anyone being awful, just unfortunate escapes on the part of dogs not savvy enough to get back home.
Unfortunately Q this is not the case.
People dump dogs and cats all the time.
This is not my opinion but what the rescues/dog catchers etc say.
You forget that in America we have become the king of lazy, much easier to drive across town let dog out and drive away. As opposed to actually try to find a home.
Youāre bringinā me down, man. ![]()

so - lets wrap this upā¦
Sweet young couple spends time in battered pet shelters and looks for homes for misbegotten aminals
Local Dentist (which is not a real doctor) loses puppy in the recent past and is crushed
Sweet young couple find perfect match for Dentist, approach Dentist and exchange was made.
all is well that ends well.
of course, unless the damaged nuclear reactors in Japan send copious amounts of radiation into our atmosphere and/or North Korea starts WWIII - Nuclear Mutually Assured Destruction.
or the Zombies attack.
EDIT/ that is one sweet looking puppy, X - but at some point, it will eat your face off while you are sleepingā¦

LOL.
Dog lovers know what I mean by a dogās āpersonalityāā¦and this one is awesome. He āappreciatesā the fact that I took him in. He also woke me up this morning right on timeā¦which is fucking awesome. I never hear that alarm clock.
I have decided to leave him my face in my will.
Lol. Yea this dog is one of kind, my wife was crying after dropping him off yesterday.
But she is very happy that he is loved and in a good home.

Allegedly. I heard some rumors that PX accepted him into his home so he could beef him up and eat him for his abnormal protein consumption.
Have you seen how much steak this guy eats? Canāt be trusted.
