The Famas is my weapon of choice before I get to the Commando. I go with the Commando with red dot sights, Hardline pro, Sleight of hand pro, second chance pro. I love the second chance pro because i have killed so many people after getting shot down because they think i’m dead. I put my killstreaks on spy plane, care package(with hardline pro this is awesome because you can change the package, and chopper gunner.
I like to look at peoples combat records and some guy had been playing for 12 days so far. I thought I had a lot with 3 days.
i fucking hate people that use second chance, if ive already beaten you in a fight why do i have to fight you again?!? i ethier end up unloading half a clip into these till they die or someone else comes and finishes them off and i get an assist. second chance and rc cars is why i mostly play barebones pure & hardcore free for all.
Well you should keep shooting them until you see the +50 or +100 saying that you made the kill. Don’t get mad because you don’t know how to finish someone off.

lol i dont get mad its slightly frustrating to see these assholes butt scooting after being shot in the face, i rarely die by way of second chance tho i unload half a clip into em or just tomahawk them, whenever i do play a mode besides barebones pure. but this is my first fps on a console im used to playing counterstrike 1.6 where there was no perks and everyone was on a equal playing field and only skill counted

True, but it works good for domination when you are capturing a flag and the extra seconds it takes to kill them could be enough time to caputre the flag.
I’m getting my copy tomorrow, peer pressure and all that.
Guess I’ll have to put MW2 down now. ![]()
good
I finally tried this game out last week and loved but I have a question: whats more important, reaction time and trying to get lucky running around or knowing your maps and a little planning , for a newbie like myself.
I’m getting some kills but when I watch my son play and see him throw tomahawks from fifty feet away and drill guys I just shake my head sadly lol. Thanks.
if ure a noob just sit back and play it slow… map knowledge and such will take time…
when i started playing i just camped and tried to get a feel for the speed of the game and the maps…
also play with friends, i hate playing with strangers cuz its every man for himself and before u know it the other team has flanked u and ure outgunned 5 to 1 while ure team is on the other side of the map wondering where everyone is…

^^ THIS.
I noticed this a lot yesterday. I was constantly getting hung out to dry. I would respawn an all my teammates would be halfway across the map so as I headed that way the other team would respawn right behind me and they were owning my ass. It sucked lol

I have a feeling this was happening to me at the end of games as well. I couldn’t figure out how they got behind me so quickly! annoying as fuck. The worst part is seeing yourself get killed in slow mo every time. “I walked right into an ambush…again” lol.
My son let me use his profile to play which is totally tricked out but I felt like I was cheating seeing as I didn’t “earn” any of it, I must fix this.
LOL… yea the beginning is harder to play… esp since everyone has pro stats and such… eventually u’ll get the hang of it… i do hate the spawn zones tho… i think they literally do it so that there can be more “revenge” kills… i’ve died and ran into the back of the person who killed me before… like literally i’d spawn in a position where i can see him run by me…

yeah this happens a lot! But I like it cause that how I usually get all my kills lol.
I swear I’ll shoot someone several times and they’ll hit me twice and I die. I think its the pro stats like youre talking about… oh well… more practice time now!
I’m going to do work son!
I have the day off so i’m going to fire up the PS3 and be fodder for other peoples enjoyment…for now…
I looked at the leaderboard and somehow people have gotten through 99 rounds of zombies.
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
I got to 27, all 4 of us had upgraded ray guns and other badass guns and we ran out of ammo before the round was over.
I played for like 7 hours last night at a friend’s house. IMO, any midsized to small map you can do pretty well with lightweight, steady aim, marathon, and a shotty of some sort (I was using the olympia due to not having the Spas yet). I was averaging like a 1.2 or so KD. It’s nothing great, but considering I barely knew any of the maps I’m not going to complain.

What you can’t do is just sit in certain spots. There will always be someone who will shoot you or knife you from behind. Keep moving, you don’t have to sprint, but just don’t stay in one place too long.
