Hahaha I am the provider (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) and manager at an occupational medical site. Basically I am a contractor that big companies hire to do pre-screening physicals and take care of work related injuries. I also do sales where I go out to get more contracts like this. I run the Texas division. However me bringing in a TV would not look good to the client. Believe me it is bad enough that I have my own laptop and fuck around on T-Nation. [/quote]

Maybe some day, we can all dream. Man I finally bought a new PS 3 and my life has been better. I have been doing the AC 3 for the past 2 nights and havent even started back on Black Ops. So many fun games and so little hours in a day.

I have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, beat the single-player like a year ago. Hadn’t touched it for a year, JUST picked it backup last week and started playing online. Didn’t play it online before because my net connection was too slow on the PS3.
So my question is: before I invest a bunch of time getting good at CoDMW2, should I just get Black Ops instead?
I’ve heard a lot of conflicting stuff on Black Ops… like the graphics suck, sound is bad, and people are going back to MW2 anyway… don’t know if that was just the first few “pre-patch” weeks or not…
…but I don’t play games that much, so I don’t want to spend time building a profile in a game that’s gonna be yesterday’s new… one the other-hand, sounds like Black Ops might be a toss out…
I trust you guys to be honest enough… is it worth $60, and where I should invest me “COD” time? Or should I just stick to MW2?
I haven’t bothered, still on MW2.

after a few weeks of having the game i feel like black ops isn’t as polished as mw2 is but its still pretty fun. as far as people going back to mw2? i haven’t heard much if anything its prolli cuz of the damn servers… i’ll be playing a game with my buddies and 5 min into it i’ll get booted. some of the servers are really shitty. either they were ill-prepared or just playing it by ear.
I know during peak hours if 3-4 of my buddies wanna play as a group it’ll take at least 5-10 min to find a game… some phrases u’ll learn to hate

It seems as though some people don’t find their groove as fast as others. personally in mw2 i was no slouch but it took me a while to get comfortable with black ops…
loadout currently:
AK74u with rapid fire, suppression w/ ghost pro, warlord, hacker pro
AK47 with extended mag w/ lightweight, SOH, marathon
I was looking forward to a slightly slower-paced, more methodical COD game, with the lack of ridiculous knife kills and quick-scoping…
…but based on the videos it looks even more arcade-y “run, stife and blaze” than the the last one.
I may just stick with MW2 Hardcore games for a bit. I’m really getting into the pace of those.

so far i have the g11 of the assault rifle class… and the classified sub machine gun…
the g11 is pretty solid and accurate, but its all about shot placement… i still prefer the ak47…
the submachine gun i prefer is still the ak74…

IMO Black Ops multiplayer is a lot more balanced than MW2. Newbies are still going to have a rough, rough time starting out though.
In Black Ops my biggest annoyances are Ghost and the RC Car but for the most part there’s little “cheapness”. In MW2 at least 1/4 of my deaths were from grenade launchers, especially when the One Man Army strategy started becoming known.

Famas w/Dual Mags, Flak Jaket Pro, Sleight of Hand Pro and Tactical Mask Pro
The Famas is my weapon of choice before I get to the Commando. I go with the Commando with red dot sights, Hardline pro, Sleight of hand pro, second chance pro. I love the second chance pro because i have killed so many people after getting shot down because they think i’m dead. I put my killstreaks on spy plane, care package(with hardline pro this is awesome because you can change the package, and chopper gunner.
I like to look at peoples combat records and some guy had been playing for 12 days so far. I thought I had a lot with 3 days.

i fucking hate people that use second chance, if ive already beaten you in a fight why do i have to fight you again?!? i ethier end up unloading half a clip into these till they die or someone else comes and finishes them off and i get an assist. second chance and rc cars is why i mostly play barebones pure & hardcore free for all.

? The original MW allowed for a lot more run and gone than Black Ops IMO. MW2 was very slow (besides tac knifing, which I only did when bored). Then again I’ve always thought a game where everyone posts up with an m16 and watches key points is boring. I don’t need realism. I’m playing a video game, I don’t expect it.
I loved just running with the p90 owning face all day on the original MW. That being said, I went 55-9 running with a Spas on Havana Domination at a friend’s place, which was a lot of fun.
I’ve purposely avoided getting this game, because these games eat my life. I remember doing a full prestige on the original MW in two days. Ridiculous.
Now you have 15 prestiges to eat through hah
