Does anyone have any experience with taking large amounts of calcium d-glucarate to reduce estrogen levels? If money is not an issue, is this an effective supplement for this purpose? I have been taking about 3 grams a day for two weeks and seem to notice my muscles filling out a bit more. Any feedback would be appreciated. thanks
I too would be interested in hearing about this . . . .
I haven’t used any more than what was in M, but I did ask Cy what an effective dose would be:
"The amount of d-glucarate in M is 250 mg per serving. Thus far, I’m only aware of completion of phase I, of a clinical trial and in it, they gave subjects 1.5-9 grams daily. However, the scope of the study is evaluating it as a potential preventative agent in those prone to lung cancer (smokers).
Anyhow, for our intended purpose, a serving of M per day along with an additional 250-750 mg should be plenty, especially if you eat fruits and vegetables. Getting more than this is fine as well. There was no toxicity with a dosage as high as 9 grams/day.
M was not my formulation, but I have to admit that in terms of anti-cancer and anti-estrogenic effects, it has some great potential."

So it looks like 3 grams might be overkill. If it’s not killing you in the wallet, then by all means. But if it’s too costly, I’d try knocking it down a bit and see if the effects are similar.
Anyways, I’ll shut up since I don’t have any personal experience to offer.

thanks for the information
kmh11 did you ever take M? If you did how does the hardness compare to when you did take M. I absolutley loved how that supplement made me feel and am always looking on ebay for it.
Bigpull- I have not taken M but the reason I’m now taking calcium d-glucarate is the fact that M is no longer available. I have been taking calcium d-glucarate for about three weeks and I feel as though I’m a bit tighter. The one thing I did not expect is that my muscles feel fuller and I seem to be stronger in the gym. I’m not sure if this is due to a lower estrogen level caused by d-glucarate.

Second that. I love M as well. I got similar responses as you did.

This is the best price I could find
i wish Biotest would reintroduce another anti estrogen product sooner then later. i went and found the ingredients in M seperately and take them daily myself. can’t realy comment on their individual efficacies because i take other supplements in conjunction. laters pk
