I work with two other folks that use protein powder as a supplement. We were discussing the possibility of buying protein powder in bulk, not just the big plastic container, but like 40 lbs. bag size, or 55 gallon drum size.
Can this be done?

If I were to buy that quantity I would not go to trueprotein etc etc.I would take the time and find a distributor of plain powders, in a sense where those sites are getting them from and buy a huge bag usually 25kg.

Really? I just took a look and I pay quite a bit less for my 5lb tub of whey. I think Metabolic Drive might be cheaper than their equivalent, also.
If I were about to buy 25lbs of whey, I would expect to pay a whole lot less than what they’re asking. And it’s unflavoured, right?

Absolutely pure WPI is only about 8 bucks a pound on trueprotein and it is 100% pure WPI with zero additives. You can get flavoring for free but I just drink mine quickly without any flavor and it goes down easily.
ALSO you can completely customize your mix and put pretty much anything in it and it is pretty cool. They also have a supp called cell swell matrix that tastes like shit but is VERY good as far as ingredients/cost go and I’ve noticed a difference since I’ve taken it.
I found out about it from another forum and have used them a few times since then. You can get other stuff from there like bcaa’s pure creatine forms and lots and lots of other goods
