These left wing T-Less men should post elsewhere since it’s beneath them to answer any of our questions with logical arguments. Try estrogen.com and maybe a tube of vagisil.
As for the comments about giving rational answers to your questions, it seems that to conservatives, anything that doesn’t echo the attitude of “might is right” or the insane notion that America was “attacked” without provokation doesn’t sound logical to the conservative mindset. Why bother when there’s no point in arguing against closed minds?
I’m with ya burnsy.
I don’t like democrats or republicans. If you buy into either too much, you probably are being fooled.
Simply put, Bush is a moron. I’m embarrassed that he is the president of our nation.
Read the essay by Michael Kinsley in TIME, Jan. 27.
Bush only got into Yale because of his social status and family ties. The man got a 566 verbal, 640 math on the SAT.
Although I realize the test has been re-normed since then, still, what the hell is that? I beat Bush by 324 points.
And the tax cut he is pushing is for the rich. DUH! They hide it by using averages, but most middle and lower class families will get very little from it. The plutocracy will make out like bandits. Again.
I imagine you guys think Gore could do a better job than Bush. Please enlighten us to your superior understanding of the political mind. Your high school debating skills are impressive too. You guys remind me of the people who hate cops until you soil your panties and need one.
Apparently Bush impressed a lot of the Euros with his SOTU speech. Note this statement, from leaders of the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the U.K., in which they declared support for the U.S., which was published in yesterday’s Wall Street Journal.
Here's an excerpt: "We in Europe have a relationship with the U.S. which has stood the test of time. Thanks in large part to American bravery, generosity and farsightedness, Europe was set free from the two forms of tyranny that devastated our continent in the 20th century: Nazism and communism."
Looks like the wienies at the top of the German and French governments don't necessarily speak for the whole of the EU...
Look up what Gore scored.
I would like to know just who here voted in the last election? And if you did and your candidate lost regardless of what happend in Florida deal with it and try to do something about it for the next election. If you voted for Mr. Bush like I did and now don’t like where he is going then do something about it for the next election. I didn’t like Mr. Clinton and his politics and at the time I didn’t like any of the democratic candidates so I did my part and got people to vote or at least tried to. I made no secret of who my candidate of choice was and tried to help put him in office. Was I responsible for him getting elected? No , he got elected by working for it, all I did and a bunch of others who were of like mind as myself was contribute in a small way. Just another reason why I love the USA and willing to defend Her. I may not always agree with my President but he is still my President and my Commander-in- Chief. I can in all honesty say that since Mr. Reagan I have never served a better one. Just one man’s humble opinion, and like a certain part of our anatomy we all have one.If you have one that disagrees with mine I will defend your right to do so. From the sands of the Middle East I wish you all peace.
doogie: I don’t remember what Gore scored. But he doesn’t have much power these days. All I want is to be able to respect the President and members of congress. The fact remains that Bush is President mainly because his daddy was, and congress is filled with liers and frauds.
I find it hilarious that so many undereducated morons actually have the balls to call Bush an idiot. The man graduated from Yale and then went to Harvard for law school. Whether his father was a senator at the time or not, those are still very prestigious schools. I’m not a huge fan of Bush, but I’m not going to flame him either. You’re the same type of person that would say something as ridiculous as that September 11th never would have happened had Gore been in office(yes, I have heard nutless liberals make this statement before). Gore had 8 years to prove himself as VP…can anyone in here tell me one thing that he actually achieved? Oh yes, and here’s one more newsflash for you: ALL politicians are deceitful. It’s the way that they manipulate the brainless masses of people such as yourself. The least trustworthy president ever!!! Does anyone remember Clinton lieing about having a fat slut blow him IN THE WHITE HOUSE, an institution paid for by AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS, a few times while he was actually conducting presidential business. Then he told a number of BOLD FACED LIES to the American public, over and over, until he knew that he had no way out but to tell the truth. Bush is the least trustworthy president ever? Yeah, right, get your head out of your ass, pencil dick.
Well I’m off for 2 weeks of snowboarding in B.C. so this’ll be my last post here. Just wanted to say thanks for partaking in this crazy little debate. I know overall I didn’t make much of a point in terms of concrete arguments and the language was not exactly eloquent, (in fact I apologize if I offended anyone with the apocalyptic visuals in my last reply) I was mostly just blowing off steam. But there are people who do voice this side well, and I know there are millions of people who feel the same way I do (thousands are protesting this war as we speak). Anyway I encourage anyone who feels this is the wrong path, or who maybe didn’t want to stand up to the firing squad in this forum, to visit the Peace Action website at www.peace-action.org, they represent this side but voice it a lot better than me. There may be no stopping the war, but enough people can (and do) affect policies. Just wanted to finish by saying I believe that REAL democracy is a beautiful thing (unlike what we have now) and so is the Constitution this country is based on. When the day comes that the Constitution is manifested in a sane manner, we will be a truly great and noble nation.
The more you write, the more you look like a dipshit. Democracy sucks…democracy is the tyranny of the majority. The Constitution did not create a democracy. The Constitution created a constitutionally-limited republic. Just another liberal dumbass.
Without calling any other members of this site an idiot, I would like to say that I do believe that Bush sucks. And it has nothng to do with myself being stupid or uneducated, it is exactly the opposite. I believe that the Bush administration is using fear tactics more than any whining liberal ever has. I am a moderate thank god, with no party affiliation. And I don’t care that Bush using words incorrectly, pronounces them wrong, and sounds like a fool most of the time, just like I don’t care that Clinton was getting laid but ugly fat chicks in the oval office. What I care about is policy, plain and simple. Bush came into office claiming that domestic policy was the most important, while now it seems all along that he wanted to finish the fight that daddy started. It is the United States’ oppresion of other nations and our being Israel’s bitch that has led to Terrorist groups wanting to kill Americans. Terrorist are not just doing all this for fun, and not because they are mentally ill. By attacking Iraq, all the US is doing is ensuring that the fire will burn even greater in the terrorist groups, and they will just want to plan more heinous attacks. Bush has cleverly played off the citizens’ fear of what happened on 9-11, and has managed to aim that fear at Iraq, while not mentioning a thing about Bin Laden. We can’t get him, so we’ll divert the citizens’ attention elsewhere. Please. Bush should take the initiative and be a true leader. It’s not his kids that will be going to war and dying so that the rich can get richer in this country, it’ll be my kids and yours.
I didn’t vote for Bush, he and Gore bascically spouted the same BS anyway. With the exception of destroying the Taliban can anyone point to a Bush success? The economy is in poor shape and I don’t know if we are safer now than before 9/11. I don’t care for Bush but I have no interest in seeing him fail, and the country and world suffer.
