Bush Rejected by the World

What people fail to realize is that it is their own morality that brought this about. If we are unselfish and actually try and police the globe, then its no wonder that we’ll be hated. Criminals attack you and the cowards who won’t fight hate you for fighting back against the criminals.

Unselfishness is impossible to practice and causes violence and hatred if you do try and practice it.

how do you know is causes violence and hatred if its impossible to practice?

People TRY to be altruistic but it is an unnatural morality. Since it is not natural, then humans will relate to others in the only way remaining — through violence.

Look at the auto industry. Most people don’t really give a rat’s ass if some UAW member gets $71/hour or a pension. All they want is a good car at a good price. So the gov’t has to force people to support the auto companies at gunpoint — through taxation (which is really legalized extortion).

so you think this explains Iraq? we were too nice, eh? haaargal.

"Bush even made a special point to meet with the Congressional Black Caucus upon taking office, which – given their feelings toward Bush – would be the equivalent of Obama holding a special meet-and-greet session with the upper management of the Ku Klux Klan.

Bush invited the Democratic black mayor of the District of Columbia to the White House, attended a majority black District church service and appointed the first black secretary of state.

And that was all before Feb. 1, 2001. (By the end of his presidency, he would have appointed the first two black secretaries of state.)

Though it was small potatoes after all that palling around with Teddy Kennedy, this is the same George W. Bush who had Muslim “spiritual leaders” to the White House a week after 9/11.

Bush also famously said of then-Russian president, former KGB agent Vladimir Putin, that he looked him in the eye and “was able to get a sense of his soul.”

(This made Bush’s critics almost as apoplectic as if he had said, “I looked into Putin’s eyes and, frankly, I just don’t trust the guy.” No matter what Bush did, liberals were incensed.)

As president, Bush scuttled the playing of “Hail to the Chief” in his honor and repeatedly reminded his staff to act humbly.

This is as opposed to Obama, who I believe is the first president-elect in history to have his own “Office of the President-elect” seal commissioned."

You gents are taking America and the protection we provide (at no cost to you non-Yanks) for granted. You’re also, following the title of the thread, not very respectful of the man.

Good luck with Mr. Obama protecting you. LOL!!!

I’m sure they will all regret their actions. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior from world leaders. It sends a very powerful message to the terrorists and other discontented groups.

Bush isn’t my favor it Pres. But his my favorite terrorist elliminator.

That is interesting, since he is my least favorite creator of terrorists.

Which one did he create? I love it when people take personal responsibility out of the picture. No, they just couldn’t help being blood thirsty terrorists! Bush made them kill that cafe full of innocent people.

What?

If an American soldier has no personal responsibility for his actions, neither have “terrorists”.

exactly.

Boundary holes created terrorists. Trying to control what is outside of oneself. You have certain beliefs inside your boundary. Through holes, your PROJECT them into the whole world as if they were universal truths. Thus–the “convert to Muslim or die” belief, or “Democrazy is the best” belief, etc). Basically this accounts for a majority of violence.

Thanks for posting that. I really didn’t understand how the leaders of other countries could be so juvenile. As much as I dislike Bush, I’m happy to learn that we can still be civil with one another.

Not only that, but each and every one of the other 19 leaders brought a big bag of pretzels for George. How nice is that?

Somehow, I think Old George is going to be laughing all the way back to Texas.
