Thanks for the concern…unfortunately, not really anything can be done with my current mental state. Pretty much im mentality drained from being on a constant heighten alert as it was.

You’re tough. This’ll pass.

If this is Covid-based, I’ve been right where you are, man. I can tell you for sure, it is brutal, stressful, and draining, worrying about everyone 24/7 and being on alert anytime anyone leaves the house. The big question mark of it all (not being sure of the if-when-maybe-possibly), and the invisibility of the danger, is the worst part.

All I can suggest is figure out some way to vent in whatever non-destructive way you can. From experience, Wild Turkey 101 and mint chip ice cream don’t fall under that category, despite my best intentions.

If it’s jumping into the garage for one set of bench or a minute of hitting a heavy bag or overhead pressing Bear for reps or getting in the car and playing good music very loud… do it, take a quick breather (what Oprah fans might call ā€œme timeā€), and then get back into battle mode.

(Or if the stress has nothing to do with Covid and is about something else, um, nevermind what I just said.)

I am greaatly assisted mentally when I can go do some mindless lifting purely for heavy. Nothing to do with plan, schedule, nothing. When I grind something heavy it resets my brain. I’m told by a shrink that it’s dopamine related. It gives me a little flood of dopamine/fight or flight, and calms me. YMMV.

You better believe it is… one minute im just exhausted by it all and other times i am in full pissed the hell off mode over everything about it.

Not yet at the full breaking point… but im damn close and God help those around me when it does happen.

It didnt help going into this shit show with a confirmed anxiety disorder in the first place.

Not anytime soon …ugh

Normally thats always been my go to… but as of late im having a hard time focusing on just doing that.

Opinions vary on that… but thanks never the less.

That’s rough man. That is my ā€œSave the rest of humanity from dealing with meā€ move.

Ever thought of writing your thoughts here? I don’t think you’re the type, but I know it helps a lot to put out your thoughts instead of keeping everything bottled up in your mind

It will pass, think of better times to come.
1 exercise of a couple of sets , maybe 20 minutes total time, might help a reset.
Even just the bar 3x10-20 might help. Your favorite exercise

Pretty much i have done a good job of not ramming someone’s head through a wall. My tolerance for stupidity is at a all time low .
