Just for reference, I am 23 years old, 6’2”, used to be 300lbs 40+% bf. Started lifting 2 years ago, got down to 200lbs 15% and I am now on bulk at 240lbs.
This is more of a search for opinions. I have ran 2 cycles previously (300 sustanon/wk 12wks, 40/day var 8wks) and (500 cyp/wk 10wks, 40/day var 8wks, 40mcg/EOD clen 8wks).
My bloodwork is completely healthy following these 2 cycles, so with me being on bulk and being someone who likes to push myself, I’m coming in with 750 cyp only for 2 weeks, then adding 200 deca to run together for another 10 weeks.
My question is, I got my hands on 100 10mg tabs of halo to take pre-workout. Based off your experience, how long before a lift is the best time to take it? Is it worth it in your opinion? Would I benefit more from taking it as a cycle or just before I lift?
Anything helps, kinda hard to find clear answers on the net and none of my buddies on gear have messed with it. Thanks
I can say the hepatotoxicity of this drug is likely overstated
There are clinical trials using this drug at 10-20mg/day for up to 12 weeks straight (and very few subjects developed major signs of hepatotoxicity). Same goes for anadrol… it’s toxic sure… but it’s not more toxic than an equivalent dose of winstrol or dbol… Rather people take like 50-100mgs of anadrol or more in a day whereas with dbol it’s usually like 20-40mg/day I think.
Halo is more toxic on a mg/mg basis but then again halo is also just really potent (in terms of how it jacks up your CNS, not necessarily anabolism)
Halo does absolutely wreck lipids (probably even moreso than most orals) but is still FDA approved as a drug for TRT (look this up, seriously)… MIMS in other countries also has it approved for treatment of hypogonadism
It’s grossly inappropriate for long term use and you’d also wind up frying your central nervous system… but I don’t think it’s toxic like say superdrol is.
Yes I get what you’re trying to do. The issue I see is it gives you a ton of strength and if your joints and tendons are nor conditioned for it you will get injured.
