Anybody out there that understand about whey protein extraction/filtration methods?
I’m gonna buy some whey directly from the manufacturer and for now I have 2 options that I’m in doubt on which one choose.
First one is Glanbia and the second is Hilmar.
Each whey has a minimum of protein they guarantee, someone told me the Glanbia one is 80% but sometimes it comes even with 70% or 76% or protein while the Hilmar always come with at least 80%.
For extraction they use Ultra-filtration on Glanbia and Cross-flow on Hilmar, I was looking about both but couldn’t realize which one is the BEST, only found that they’re seemed.
It seems Glanbia comes with more aminoacids but I don’t know if really if it will change a lot if it comes with 70% or 80% protein. Also gotta check which extraction process is the best as something tells me that not always the quantity of protein/aminoacids is synonymous of quality.
Here I have the tables of both wheys, if someone that understand a bit about it could analize for me and tell me about it I’d be very thankful.
