I am a total newbie when it comes to this, so please bear with me.
Since I want to get big or atleast get a little boost to newbie gains, I was planning on using T.
At the moment I am at 90kg for weight and want to be 85kg for my maintance weight. I want to train for a few months to become fit and not lose too much weight (-200 calories) and then go into first cycle of 10 weeks.
Let’s say I don’t lose more than 2kg and use T to get to 98kg (so +10kg). Can I also use T to lose again? Like doing a calorie surplus of 300-500 for the first 6 weeks and then a 200 deficit for the last 4 weeks.
True newbie gains don’t need AAS to get their gains for at least two years, IMO.
A newbie should be aware that rapid gains in muscle strength can place your much slower strengthening tendons in danger of damage. You need to allow time for your tendons strengthen. Natural muscle gains are more likely to be slow enough for your tendons to keep up.
Why are you considering taking exogenous testosterone? What is your age and have you been diagnosed low T?
No. AAS are for building muscle. Get to a good body comp. Do your 10 week cycle to gain muscle and then go back to a maintenance phase and clean up what BF you have put on. If you are eating correctly during your growth period you should be putting minimal fat.
This is also a concern. A new lifter should not need to use gear until they max out their genetic potential.
How old are you? How long have you been seriously training?
I am just starting again. By the comments I am getting that I should wait a little until I start. Would it be better to start after 4 months of consistent workout.
Can you post a pic of your existing physique?
I saw above you are 26yo. How many years of consistent training do you have before “starting again”?
4 months of consistancy is nothing in this game.
100% agree here. You need to have a solid base/foundation prior to using gear or you are just renting muscle while you are on.
Really need physique pics here.
IMO, you need this time to build a solid foundation and keep your body fat no more than 15% (that is you should be able to see major muscle group separation and no flabby waistline)
As other stated, anabolics aren’t for newbie gains. It’s kinda of a waste as they don’t magically make you big especially when you don’t have training and nutrition dialed in. No newbie does, it takes years to learn your body. An aggressive cycle can add a lot of mass, but a newb shouldn’t run an aggressive cycle anyway as it’s a recipe for disaster due to side effect management. Get your body in prime shape, it may take only a year but anything in months is unlikely enough time. Why not start a training log on this forum? Add photos, document your progress, get opinions etc.
