So I started my ‘skipload’ last night, and had some more this morning, then hit chest in the early afternoon, hoping to benefit from all the extra carbs. It wasn’t that bad I guess, but the strength just isn’t there anymore. Sadness.

Strength loss is relative lol. I would kill to be hitting your numbers! lol. Those db incline #'s were pretty solid considering what all you did before.

Pressing numbers are always those most affected by changes in bodyweight. I’m sure whenever you decide to bulk back up to even higher numbers you’ll blow all your old PRs away.

Appreciate it man. It’s just a total mind fuck. And I’m feeling pretty small without feeling like I look “lean” yet, so it begs the question wtf am I even doing. I know it’s working and in time my hard work will pay off in my eyes.

Agreed on pressing taking the biggest hit during dieting (that and squatting, imho).

You fucking bet PRs are going to be shattered.

I just took my final before/after photos today, and I didn’t appreciate the progress I had been making until I saw the difference. Just stick with it man, and you’ll be pleased.

Db shrugs (forceful contraction/pause) - good song came on during these. focus back.
