Thanks! Sorry for the delay with posting the pics. I’ll try to get around to it tonight when i get home.
As for training and nutrition, I’ve been pretty much doing everything in the Shredded in 6 days article. Been downing 3 gallons of water per day as per the article too.
Again my apologies for not getting pre dry out pics posted. Today is the photo contest day. I weighed in at the gym this morning at 175-177 which is 44 pounds lost (two different digital scales at the gym). I was 182 or so before I cut my water yesterday morning fwiw, and keep in mind I was bloated by a few pounds in my before pic as well, but still 44+ pounds.
They are using yet a different scale for the actual weigh in and I think it’s pretty close to the one that I weighed at 177 on. I’ve had a couple FINiBARs since that weigh in which weigh practically nothing and consumed no fluids. I’m planning to sit in the sauna to lose 2-3 more pounds before. I’m still debating the vegetable glycerin and the soda before the photo. So far, the dry out has gone nicely.

very cool man. 44ish pounds is pretty amazing… especially for someone who isn’t a fat guy. Is the contest winner decided soley on weight lost alone or the before/after transformation? Good luck with the rest of the day and I’m looking forward to hearing the outcome/seeing the after pics. (no homo)

Had some glycerine and about 160 grams of other carbs today. No fluids. I’m planning on hitting the sauna and doing a quick pump workout before the pic. Gotta shave real quick and fix my hair, them I’m off to the gym. I’ll snap a back shot and some flexing poses real quick.
damn man looking pretty shredded!

Results of the 12 weeks: I lost 49 pounds in total (221 => 172), by the way, and I tested at ~5% per 3 point caliper.
Now it’s time to bulk: Forums - T Nation - The World's Trusted Community for Elite Fitness
Great work buddy. Did you walk in there and yell “SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!” You can tell how lean you really are by the quad/ham separation. Bring up those quads now son!
insanely shredded man, all that hard work paid off!
now get to eatin
@ ACTrain: That means a lot coming from you. Really.
@ ashylarryku, phatkins, gregron, and everyone else who had kind words to say throughout this: Thanks guys!

PS,
After the weigh in yesterday at 4 and before 10 AM this morning, I would estimate that I had about 8,000 calories =) Backing off the cals and carbs now though… I know I need to allow my body to adapt. I and will take this bulk conservatively, yet aggressively if that makes any sense. Conservative from a fat gain perspective, yet aggressive from a muscle gain perspective. I’m going to try to make the before and after pics just as “wow” (not to sound cocky) as the ones in this log. Thanks again everyone for following and keeping up with my log. Happy training.
PPS
In the new (bulk) log, I’m going to keep a lot more detail, like weekly measurements, photos, online food log, links to excel versions of all my spreadsheets (food logs, and daily scale weight, and weekly measurements, and anything else I come up with), a more detailed training journal, as well as links to several articles that I find useful. Cheers (hoists up my protein drink)!
Hi,
I only just checked out this log, wow, awesome progress! You look like a different person, just shows what you can do in a short time if you are dedicated.
I will def be keeping tabs on your bulk log, good luck with the bulk.
