What’s vague? My description of orthodox. By truth I mean politically and religiously, I guess I could say that I am using some of the most tried and true principals when it comes to getting stronger. But mostly I did it because of my political and religious stances.

that sucks about the injuries but if you stick with the rehab and the slow recovery you’ll get back where you wanna be. After i had shoulder surgery it really sucked being so weak but it comes back… eventually lol

I figure it will. It just sucks because the last set back was about 8 months ago…so it’s a pay now or pay later thing…I didn’t pay then, but I’m paying now so I don’t have to pay later.

yeah… just do what the PT’s say (for the most part) and be aggressive with your therapy/rehab and you’ll be back. dealing with injuries is a humbling thing for sure.

So I get there and kids from my HS are sitting in my spot…doing bent over rows. So, I wait…what, wait? I have three other squat racks so I go to one of them and do deadlifts

Side bends and the ab strap (the one where it looks like your smashing your head into a table) are like my feel good food exercises. I don’t know why, but if I feel like shit in the gym or in life. I just finish with these, maybe it is because they have always been easy but they make me feel like a million bucks when I feel like I owe the world everything. I unno, but I keep them as my secret weapon and strange thing, every time I hit these in the gym…everyone within two weeks is doing them.
