I think you guys are all on the right track.
I’m not sure which scenario I’m hoping more for:
-
Walts family is kidnapped, he rescues them but dies in the process leaving his family financially set up like he planned all along.
-
Walts family is all dead, he beats cancer again, he has a ton of money but lost everyone and everything he loved in the end and is bitter, corrupt and alone.
Both endings would be pretty awesome.
If you do the Breaking Bad Story Sync on AMC they poll everyone to see if you think Walt will end up A: Rich w/ Family B: Rich and Alone C: Broke w/ Family D: Broke and Alone. They do not even give you a dead option. This makes me feel that he will definitely survive everything.
Definitely voting for D.
I still kind of hope he ends up dying, but then again maybe not.
He is one of the most compelling TV show characters of all time IMO and unjust excited to see what ends up happening.
After all this I can’t see them wrapping it all up with a pretty bow and sending Walt riding off into the sunset happily ever after.

I would probably guess the gang has taken his family hostage more than anything else.
But the scenarios above don’t really explain how the world finds out about him?
How do we know the world finds out about him? The spray paint in his house could have been done by Todd and the gang when they came to kidnap/kill Skylar and Walt Jr. The neighbor freaking out when she sees Walt could just be the fact that his family was brutally murdered next door and no one has seen him for a year. Other than that are there any indications the world knows about Walt that I am missing?
Think about what you’re saying. His family is killed, he goes “missing,” there’s Heisenberg sprayed on his walls and no one has pieced together that he was Heisenberg all along? Especially if Hank is dead/missing?
I find it hard to believe the neighbour would be shitting herself for any other reason.

I just do not think that him being Heisenberg necessarily is made known. If that was the case he wouldn’t show his face in the state again. He goes to Denny’s and nobody bats an eyelash. If the world knows who is there is no way he just casually eats his birthday breakfast in a public restaurant.

Maybe. But the fact kids are using the backyard swimming pool as a skate park suggests to me a significant amount of time has passed since whatever events unfolded. He’s no longer being heavily sought after, no longer in regularly the news etc. Things have died down substantially.
Couple this with the fact he has a fake ID and his appearance isn’t one that particularly sticks out, it doesn’t surprise me only his neighbour who saw him regularly has recognized him.

I am not disagreeing with you because everyone finding out is a HUGE possibility. I was just saying at this point I am not willing to rule out a few of the well thought out predictions just because they include the world not finding out about Heisenberg.

I’m going with D. The whole time since Walt has decided to go into the meth business its because he thinks he is going to die soon, so he will live

As much as I want Walt to off Jesse and Hank “Heisenberg” style and ride off into the subset like a BAMF, I know that isn’t going to happen.
Based on the “flash forwards” it’s pretty obvious to me that Walt is a fugitive which IMO means that Hank and Gomez don’t die in the desert here.
In the flash forwards, Walt is on the run from Uncle Jack’s gang. They killed Hank, Gomez, and possibly Jesse in the desert and forced Walt to cook for him. Eventually he escaped and went into hiding. He’s coming back for a showdown with Todd and Uncle Jack to settle the score. It’s possible that Jack and Co. went after his family and possibly killed Skylar or Walt Jr.
That’s my guess at this point.
That. Would. Be. AWESOME!

Saul is getting his own show

Ha!
I love Saul.
He’s such a sleeze ball, it’s great.
Gomie dies, everyone runs out of bullets. The skinheads take Walt in exchange for sparing Hank. Jesse makes a run for it. Marie convinces Hank to go public. Walt escapes the skinheads and is on the lamb from everyone. Saul gets the family out with some of the money.
Then something mindblowing happens.
I think Hank dies, and Marie flips out. The killing of Hank finally turns Skylar against Walt, and with the recording they made of Walt/Jessie’s phone call (IF they recorded it) they try to go after Walt.
Not sure what happens to Jessie but it does seem like currently him and Walt’s family are the last vestige he has tying him to morals and his old life, so maybe Jessie teams up with them or Walt has to kill him, Marie and Skylar, fully turning Heisenberg loose.
On a different note, seems like everyone hates/hated Skylar prior to this season. Am I the only one who wanted to introduce her to my Heisenberg?
She has a nice body but a ruminant’s range of facial expression. Puts me off.
Watching breaking bad makes my legs feel weak are soft and wobbly, definitely don’t wanna squat. In fact, it makes me feel fucked up and suicidal like there’s no point to be alive. It’s not aesthetic at all.

You must be on season 1
3/4 of that season was depressing as hell

Knowing it’s ending, I’ve been on edge for practically the whole season 5 part 2

I agree with this. I don’t typically do a lot of thinking when I watch shows since I like to turn my brain off. Basically it means I go in and can get blown away by the material. However, since I come on here and read what you guys have written it kind of takes that away even though what everyone posts is just hunches. It’s almost like a pre-spoiler or something.
Interesting prediction I just read:
Hank dies and it’s actually Marie who torches the White residence.

Marie is crazy.
I could definitely see her doing that.
Dunno if this has been answered, because I’ve never touched a gun in my life, but it seems the shootout was the worst display of marksmanship I’ve ever witnessed. Is this correct?
