So I just caught up and fucking love this show.

For me it’s a tie with Dexter.

It seems as though Jesse is the little engine that could. I like that kid. Fuck Walt and that bitch Skylar.
You are wrong.

Breaking Bad > Dexter.

No contest.
Agreed.

Dexter is a pretty good show, but is way too repetitive.

Dexter chases after a ritualistic serial killer…again and again. The show is definitely good but nowhere close to Breaking Bad’s quality.
His evolution to self-awareness is the real story line, the rest is entertaining plot. BB protagonist is spiraling out of control hardcore, which is weak. Great plot though and equal drama, making an obvious tie.
I love the changes in Walt. A basically good guy turning into a crazy, murder-plotting bad guy.

And then there is the change in Jesse! He has changed from a annoying little meth-head boy into a badass man.

Having the protagonist start out as a bad guy and gaining self-awareness is not nearly as much fun to watch.

Just admit that you are wrong.

Dexter too except he is overcoming his “dark passenger”. Improvement is greater than self-destruction, always. Equally good writing for entertainment purposes though. Plus Dexter carries himself with an air of self-confidence that I dig. I usually want to kick the BB dudes in the nuts.

That episode felt like it was 20 minutes long…

I agree completely, I was like where did the hour go?

Spoilers

Is it just me or is it starting to feel like gus is superhuman with that last scene. Just getting that sense that something was up and leaving his car. I’m like you have got to be kidding me as I was watching it.

/Spoilers

This season started off slow but the past couple episodes have really brought it back up to BB is known for. And all the talk about, I think Dexter is awesome but after the season with Trinity (John Lithgow), I feel like everything else has kinda been a let down, I don’t see them finding a better archnemesis for Dexter to go against, Lithgow was just too good.

Gus is superhuman.

Also, the problem with Dexter is that, other than Micheal C. Hall, the acting and story lines for the regular cast members suck elephants queaf.

Edit: my typo.

That’s true. The only other Dexter character I ever liked was Sgt. Doakes.

Ohhh… me too! I was pissed when he died. So, they only make characters interesting when they are going to die?

Lame.

And counting… of course Dexter is on tonight too. Gotta love Sunday. And the new show, Homeland. Will be awesome.

It’s raining in H-town! 2nd time in like three years. Perfect TV weather. Sure wish I had a sweet Chri…girl to get under a blanket with.

Are you willing to admit yet that Breaking Bad is better than Dexter?

I will say I’m more excited to watch BB tonight, however, it is a season finale.

Way to be noncommittal.

Double entrendre? Jk I love you. BB has better writing over all. Dexter is a better main character. Homeland will rule.

Ah… I can see you’re coming to the dark side.

I heart Gus Fring.

Mike is the man though, if only he had more ambition the cartel would be his.

Nah, I think Mike is happy with his role.

Heads of drug cartels have a way of dying.

I would be interested in getting some of his back story though. I wonder if he has a wife and kids and a home in the suburbs.

Not sure about a home in the burbs but he did mention having kids to Walt. I think he’s supposed to be a normal dude in private. Ex cop right?

Honestly, I don’t remember, but I am in the process of rewatching season 3 now. Mike basically came into the show at the end of season 2.

Ah, no spoilers then. Sorry. It is a great show I can commit to loving it but Dexter is still a great friend. Super hung over. Trying to get in to walking dead, not feeling it.

That’s right. Walking dead starting soon. I need to rewatch the first season of that.

Another awesome A&E show.

I’m hung over as well, but I’m think I’m going to head over to my dad’s shop. I promised to make my nephew some guns. Plus, they have the nice plasma over there, think I’ll watch BB there.

Wait, you make guns? That’s cool you can still go to your dads shop. You are a mysterious woman, Christine. Chicago, Oregon, Colorado… The gun thing is some unexpected awesome though. What guns do you have? If you’ve already logged out hope we can discuss lataz. Love guns. Take care lover, Jesse for the win.
