Just curious as to how well Brain Candy is at helping with anxiety. Anyone who uses this have any input? Its quite an interesting product
At first I thought the whole “reduces social anxiety” claim was kinda weird, but when I started it seemed to work pretty well, felt less restrained in social situations (kind of like this “I feel good, I don’t care” type of feeling). Only time I can remember still getting anxious was asking out a girl. Now it’s effects are less noticeable since I’ve gotten used to it, but still helps a little bit.
In summary I’d say it helps but extreme situations will still bring out anxious thoughts even after taking brain candy.
Thanks for the reply. I know it says social anxiety but I was curious about anxiety in general. Judging by your post I would imagine its the same way you said, okay for less serious situations but not good for stronger anxiety.
Consider the caffeine-free version of Brain Candy for your needs, which is now available.
Also, many have reported that a single capsule of Z12, which is our sleep supplement, has an overall relaxing, calming effect. Most need 2-3 capsules for sleep purposes, but 1 capsule can be effective for what you’re looking for. Here’s the link: http://www.t-nation.com/store/supplements/z-12.jsp

Just looked at the ingredients. How does phGABA differ from GABA?
