Current symptoms of concern:
Brainfog, can’t concentrate, memory loss, no sex drive, anxiety, hot face and neck
My total testosterone without HRT is around 160.
I’ve been working with my doctor to deal with my low testosterone for about a year now so I had a pretty good idea where my numbers would be based on the way I’ve been feeling. My brainfog usually goes away when my E2 drops and my cholesterol is in the normal range when my testosterone is above 550.
My wife and I are considering having a child but are still undecided. Whether we do or not, I would like to leave that option open. For that reason my treatment plan has to consider fertility. I’ve been on many other treatment plans that included combinations of the following: arimidex, clomid, fortesta. None of it seemed to work.
So I went to the doctor prepared and armed with information I got from this site. Using the protocol for injections sticky I asked to be placed on a similar protocol.
My doctor was somewhat satisfied with the treatment protocol I suggested however he did make some modifications.
.5ml test cypionate injected once/week
1ml HCG twice/week
Clomid 3x/week
Arimidex EOD
I’ve been researching HRT for months now and I’ve never seen a treatment plan that included HCG and Clomid at the same time. Should I be concerned about this? If so, how should I bring this up to my doctor.
I did my first T injection yesterday and my first Clomid this morning. My HCG should be available this weekend so I will start that on Saturday. My doctor wants to see me again in 6 weeks. Will it be ok for me to follow this protocol for the next 6 weeks or should I talk to my doctor about removing the Clomid or HCG?
