Boron - All My Patients Use It and So Should You

TRT docs that Ive listened to always say that if a guy on TRT has wakefulness issues they get them on pregnenolone and/or DHEA depending on blood work. Maybe you mean that if you dont take boron you dont have the low energy and lethargy and if so I apologize that I may have read it wrong.

Yes I feel bad from taking boron

Can you elaborate? I am interested to know about that.

I have read DHEA helps with sleep, but not so much preg.

I have been taking 25mg dhea at night right before bed, and it definitely helps with REM sleep as I’m dreaming more. At least that’s my gauge of whether it’s working or not.

LH is needed for conversion of cholesterol into Pregnenolone and DHEA.

Dr. Rob Kominiarek on Pregnenolone (Go to 9:45):

Low DHEA-S Levels

This is linked to aging and to conditions like:

Symptoms of low progesterone include:

Irritability and mood swings.
Depression and anxiety.
Migraines.
Insomnia.
Fatigue
Irregular menstruation (including frequent periods)
Inability to concentrate.
Low libido.

Anyone please?

3mg a day is the usual dosage but 2mg is probably fine if thats what you have. Once a day is fine.

The thread is all about boron posted by an endo in the know and you didn’t read it, bought boron and want to know how much to take… You are what’s wrong here.

Yeah sorry i didn’t have time to read the entire 200+ post thread to find out so instead i’ve asked. And it was already answered for … So why do you even bother? You are doing a great job helping people on this forum… Keep it at that , not this.

I think i will second this… I have been feeling the same way since starting boron 10 days ago. Not the whole day but after around 3-4pm i start to feel lower energy compared to pre boron. It might be due to my change of protocol on TRT too so i am not too sure yet. I will stop taking it and see.

Yup it does I’ve read a ton on it. I believe dhea helps because it competes somehow with cortisol. So if stress is an issue, expect dhea to help.

I took dhea and I fell right asleep. You just reminded me to take it again. I’ve been sleeping like shit for months and tonight I’ll tske 10mg dhea again.

Problem is if I tske dhea for too many days I get tired and fatigued. Similar to what HCG does to me.

Honestly thanks man I hope I sleep well tonight

@pita13 Its not worthy to feel this way.
Also I think with time this action of borone to increase free test is diminished

I seriously doubt 3mg of boron is making you feel fatigued. Every protocol change makes me feel fatigued for at least a month.

Maybe the brand was not good quality(Now Foods) but I get a lot of side effects from different supplements.

I take now creatine and beta alanine pre workout and pay very expensive price to get from bio sources to avoid unpleasant side effects  And there is a huge difference by the way I could not tolerate the now foods creatine in capsules at all

@physioLojik can you comment on the studies that show boron can lower PSA? Has anyone tried this and saw actual lowering of PSA? And at what dosage of Boron.

@sublimeprince32 I have a few boron questions I want to ask him as well. I posted a thread in T-replacement to ask him questions that he can answer during his podcast interview some he isn’t active on the forum. Feel free to add yours to the list
