This addresses especially @KSman
I’m looking to boost T naturally and am not sure I understand perfectly.
Here are some of the things I’m. Playing with, do they make sense?
I’d appreciate the feedback/input.
Hcg: 100-125 2xday eod
Proviron 50mg 1xday
PROTOCOL II
Clomid 6.25mg daily for 6-8 weeks
Aromasin 6.25mg eod for 2-4 weeks, 1/4 caber eod for duration.
I’m testing now these protocols:
Day 1. Clom 12.5
Day 2. Aroma 12.5
Day 3. Clom 12.5
Etc, pp.
Then the next week I exchange aroma for arimi
In the 3rd week I alternate aroma and arimi
When I have hcg, I use
Day 1. Clom 12.5
Day 2. 2x 125 hcg
Day 3. Clom 12.5
Day 4. 2x 125 hcg
And probably some ai with it.
(with either aroma and/or arimi)
Day 1 Clom 25?
Day 2 Nolva 12.5-25?
Day 3 Clom, etc, pp.
Maybe also add arimi for the next cycle?
As NH_Watts mentioned clomid will increase testosterone, but once you withdraw the drug levels will more than likely return to baseline values. Clomid is not a long term solution, it is used to restart the HPTA of those on 8 weeks cycles, not to treat men who have lower than normal testosterone because the sides effects aren’t worth it.
If you have been diagnosed or have low testosterone either do to a pituitary failure or testicular failure, I’m afraid you’re wasting your time trying to regain natural optimal levels you had when younger. T decreases as you age especially if you are nearing 40 years old, every year past 30 you lose a percentage of your testosterone.
I don’t really understand. You say you want to boost t “naturally” then list all the drugs you’re wanting to take. That doesn’t seem very natural to me.
Regardless, your T will almost certainly end up back where it is now once you aren’t taking anything.
I think we’re all going to agree. By “natural” you mean your own testicles are making the testosterone instead of getting it via an injection.
However, to do that, you are taking synthetic chemicals that screw with your brain chemistry to trick it into producing (unnaturally) hormones which will increase testosterone.
Thanks for the reply.
Would they return to baseline levels even if that baseline was suboptimal to start with?
Say you’re at 60% and you boost back to a normal 100%.
Could it not then stay there even after discontinuing the clomid?
When you say side effects, like what is so dangerous about clomid? I always thought it’s a rather safe drug…
Permanent eye floaters, gyno if you are prone to it. Clomid is essentially a female fertility drug and half the pill is estrogen. You’re blocking estrogen in the brain so that LH increases.
In my opinion prescription drugs aren’t safe long term, you always hear about the negative consequences years later, an example certain SSRI’s are responsible for the destruction of gut bacteria and also where some are resistant to antibiotics do to these drugs.
Drugs take the body outside of a natural state and there is always a consequence. Pharma commercials are plastered on TV slowly brainwashing us into thinking prescription drugs are safe, 200,000 people per year die from side effects of prescription drugs.
That depends on whether or not your corrected the cause of low testosterone, if you think this clomid drugs is going to be like a magic pill and do all the heavy lifting while you sit back and enjoy the ride, sorry this is not how it works.
If there is something in your life style that is causing the low testosterone, like poor sleep and/or not eating enough, your T is going to go right back to where it was pre-clomid. If you are suffering from a pituitary failure which is beyond fixing, nothing you do will matter.
In ten more years I expect to see a worse situation worldwide epidemic of low testosterone among men, 20 years ago it was unheard of to see young men with low testosterone, now it’s almost commonplace.
My current doctor says that when clomid works, the results are not what the patient was expecting, the patient was expecting to end up on the high normal side of the ranges. This is unrealistic if you ask me and is just too much wishful thinking.
