I don’t own a TV, but I make it a point to catch the boondocks(friends with tivo, youtube…etc.). After seeing one episode I was hooked, I have laughed my ass off at all of them. However, I have noticed that I can really only enjoy them once or twice, for whatever reason, the jokes don’t seem to have a lot of staying power with me. It’s one of the only shows I’ve been in absolute hysterics even while watching alone.
The music to the show is really good too. From what I understand, much of it was written(and performed by?) Aaron Mcgruder(the creator). Also the show often features tracks by an MC named Asheru.

Definitely my favorite besides the ones with Samuel L.

I was trying to think of that dude’s name. That shit was funny as hell. It was one of those shows I never really sat and watched as a kid, but because he spoke like he did, it was like you would get sucked in and hypnotized for a minute while you were channel surfing.
