I spend an incredible amount of time in the car and go through books on CD at a pretty good clip. I am at the point now where I’ve read everything I’ve wanted to read and need some recommendations.
I don’t read much fiction. I am looking for books on US presidents, founding fathers, or other polarizing political figures. There are so many, it seems like a bit of a crap shoot when selecting one. Any recommendations?
I had always assumed the speech would be incredibly long, as in those days I usually read at about 5000 wpm and it took a while to get through Galt’s address, whereas in contrast verbal delivery is typically no more than 100 wpm.

It’s actually not a multi-hour deal?
Yes, it is actually about a 17 part playlist. I don’t know why the link did not in-bed.

I just ordered these two books online and waiting for delivery.
“A Conflict of Visions: Ideological Origins of Political Struggles”
Thomas Sowell
“A Patriot’s History of the United States: From Columbus’s Great Discovery to the War on Terror”
Larry Schweikart
Am presently reading Rick Green’s “Freedom’s Frame”.
I’ve read 3 of Thomas Sowell’s books on economics. I really like his stuff. That one is on my list. I couldn’t find in Audio CD, but will keep checking.
I’m going to check out the second one. I had this on my list as well, but can’t remember why I wrote it down.

Ron Paul’s The Revolution is a good read. He’s also got a pretty good recommended reading list at the end.

Have it.
