There’s such a thing as “quality of life.” Further, your argument about centenarians isn’t valid, because the latest studies I’ve seen favor no particular lifestyle choices in those of exceptionally advanced age. In fact, many centenarians smoked, drank, and ate whatever they wanted for much of their lives. No, they didn’t become obese, and they probably didn’t go too far into the extremes, but they weren’t consuming an extremely low calorie diet, either.
