Ummm. Probably not a blanket statement that works for everyone. Just like someone telling you that you need marriage in your life doesn’t work.
I agree. It wasn’t meant in that way. I meant that it gives more options and confidence for people to create the relationship they want.
So anyway… I’m kinda excited. The SVU Detective (a friend of a friend) that I’ve been hoping would ask me out. Did today. He took my number at a friends house after a nice chat a few weeks ago. And a commitment for us to get together soon. Our mutual friends had told me tha his father was dying in California. And he left the next day.
Not really sure if this is an ideal time with his father passing last weekend. But he messaged when he got off the plane today.

If so, that’s a heck of a coincidence, in that I went to duckduckgo and typed in “huge catfish” to get the picture.
As an aside, there is something majorly wrong with the hand of the guy in that picture.
I noticed the same thing. One method to catching a catfish is to jam a fist under a submerged log, or other suitable catfish hangout, to get it to clamp down, then the owner of the fist drags the fish out.
Looking at Pushharder’s stolen hand, could he have really caught that monster like that? Knowing Push, the answer is yes!

I never ended up going out with that guy.
Decided to just go back and keep things casual with my ex.
It’s easier then dating. He does his thing, I do mine. We go out a few times a month. I have someone to talk to daily.
I’ve never found the ‘easier thing’ to be particularly rewarding or fulfilling. I think the word for that most people would use is ‘settling’. But hey, if it works for you, do what you want
