Bobbi's Got a Brand New Bag

Bahahaha i got weak! You guys ready to see the fastest comeback evarrr? Took a month off. First day back. Best pulls 225 and 185+80lbs chain 265 lockout no belt. Old numbers were 250 lexens and 375 lockout.

Taking a step back was nice. Im looking for more balance in my life so i wont be married to weights anymore. Its getting nice here in SD and i want to spend more time surfing biking sailing dancing and rock climbing. I wont turn down fun plans to lift anymore and i don’t want to be sore or stiff where it interferes with my other stuff.

More balance. More happy fun times.

yei!! you are alive!

that’s hardly weak lady–> and don’t forget you had a meteoritic rise in strength in the first place! it’ll be there when you want it back again, no sweat.

Hey Bobbi!

Yes, she has resurfaced !

Great to hear from you! Definitely enjoy SD for all it has to offer.

balance is a wonderful life skill. hope you find it

Glad you’re back bobbi.

So I’m curious what the impetus was for more balance in life and deciding to not be married to the weights anymore. Not sure I could do that.

And you went through this finding balance before…until your clients started lifting heavier stuff, which in turn inspired you to seek the PL gym, ya?

Balance is important…enjoy some of that sunshine for me!

and check the fuck back in once in awhile. =+P

Checking in. I’m friends with quite a few of you on facebook so I pretty much stay there. I’ve been having a lot of fun and playing a ton of flag football. Quit my PL team because they were taking 4 hours per workout and I wanted to have a social life.

Lifting heavy again because I’m cyclical like that. Feeling a little peer pressure to do the women’s pro/am in November. If I can go 185/135/255 I’ll probably do it.

I’m light. 127. But I’m a lot tighter and in better cardio shape. Running around, feeling good, eating well, generally happy, doing a lot of writing/training and getting back in business.

This place gives me high blood pressure but I like to check back and see how y’all are doing. Feel free to send me an add on facebook - I don’t bite!

Bobbi: Thanks for the update. I’m happy to read that you are doing so well. But does quitting the PL team mean that you are without Ricardo? Oh, that makes me sad.

I miss reading about your training. But low blood pressure is important. I understand.

Yes I am without Ricardo now (sad panda) but I couldn’t handle the 4 hour drag ass workouts and this homophobe, racist, biggot that joined the crew running his mouth all of the time.

I have the smallest waist I’ve had in 2+ years and my arms/shoulders/quads are at their biggest so I’m definitely recomping nicely. Sitting at 128 as of today. Racing a client to gain 15lbs (142) but I don’t want to pack on fat so I’ll probably lose as I’ll take it slowly - it’s more for his motivation anyway.

Biggest change in the program is slamming the leg press - I love that thing - and a lot of 3-1 tempo exercises focusing on the muscle as opposed to the weight. It feels nice to take it easier on the joints and I’m seeing some quick results so hopefully I’ll have some nice photos to post in the fall! Thanks for checking in on me.

Thanks for checking in, Bobbi. I’ve been wondering how you were doing and I’m so glad that you are happy and well. Wouldn’t I LOVE a picture of your current recomped body!

yah glad u checked in and great news on the recomp! hope u’re enjoying that sun.

Hey Kimba! Are you on fb?

I’m hitting close to my old 140+ strength levels and I’m 126 right now. 26.5" waist. Ordered an inzer 13mm lever belt so when it comes I’m going to start pulling the shit out of some deads. If I can get those 250 lexens back at this weight…HOOYAH…exciting stuff

PS that ABB speed stack is f’n awesome. I tried it today and had a kick ass lift.

great stuff bobbi!! but screw you and your tiny waist I say with the up most jealousy and happiness for you

…chump

ha brute I’m still silly jealous of your squat #s

God damn grip is killing my deadlift. For those who don’t know I broke my pinky finger on my left hand and it unravels my grip as soon as I break the bar off the ground. Got 225 but dropped 235 because of it. F’n frustrating. Ahhrrrgg! Probably going to have to strap deads for a while and get it splinted.

On the plus side my quads are for sure growing. Year of the leg!

ah shit that sucks. NO shame in using straps if you have no real option. I’d use them just to keep the dl’s going up…have you done any meets or are you going to this year??

YAY bobbi! Silly strong at 126. Nice!

I just decided that i’m no longer going to pull anything with mixed grip - its not a good habit for my Oly. Been using straps, wont lie, makes things so much easier.

Fix yer finger!
