Any idea where i can buy this? Amazon has it for $229 which is a tad high.
I was playing a game with some church friends, but I can not remember the name of it because it has been outlawed at my church because of me. It is a hand held device that puts up a word or phrase and you have to explain it with out saying the words.
It was guys vs gals. A guy earlier in the game had by-passed a phrase and the girls jumped him for doing it. So when I got the device the phrase was “Pussy Footing Around.” You can only imagine where I took it, and the girls hated me the next morning at Church. The guys laughed for weeks at me. Good times, Good time.

there are a couple of shops around here that I can check. if I can get one I’ll pm.
edit. just found it. it’s now called Obozos America.
Battle of the Sexes is a favorite around our house, I have not noticed the huge disparity between question difficulty previously mentioned, especially if you play with girls who have played sports at some point in their life. Taboo, Cranium Wow, Buzzword, Bezzerwizzer with a trivia minded group, or Scattergories are all pretty popular as well.
Stratego is good. So is the OG Battleship (there is one boat that can be mounted on a 45 degree angle if you stretch the pegs). I still may have this old card game, Mille Bornes.

Stratego is awesome!!
Also Clue, Catch Phrase, Uno, Pass the Pigs, Yhatzee
I second Clue. It’s an overlooked one that’s easy but can be pretty fun with enough people, i.e. 4+.
I’ll add Sequence.
I’m not a chess player, but I can’t turn down a checker’s challenge. A checkers/backgammon/othello medley could be fun too. Get multiple sets and have a tournament.
I’m under the impression you’re looking more for traditional type games and not necessarily party or drinking games, but you’d be amazed how much fun Operation can be under the right circumstances.
Thanks for all of the suggestions guys, We picked up Pandemic, Smallworld, and a Farkle set for now. But more suggestions are always welcome so we can expand more.

Sounds like Catch Phrase. Fun to play as a drinking game.
Balderdash is great but if you play with the same people for a few games you tend to recognize their tendencies and just know their answer is sprinkled with horseshit. Plant found in the deep dark rain forest may ass.
Not sure if you can call Rumoli a board game but it’s fun even if you’re shitty at cards like me.
