I was considering leasing a 328i in a couple months and then I saw BMW will bring out a 1 series coupe in the spring with the option of the 335i’s turbocharged engine.
I’m a little concerned the 1 series might be too small and that there might be a long waiting list for the larger engine type anyway.
If anyone has owned a 328(or 325) I would love to hear your thoughts on reliability, performance, and upkeep costs since I’m still considering getting one. I loved it on the test drive but I have heard that maintenance costs are a bitch.
And if anyone knows more about the 1 series I would appreciate any info on that too. I don’t know much more than what I found on a website with the spy shots.

I don’t own a BMW but this might help you out:
If you ask me that’s one hell of a deal, probably thousands of dollars in parts/labor there, not to mention that’s 10+ free oil changes.

No doubt. I think I had the world’s shittiest salesman helping me when I test drove one. He mentioned none of that.
