Hey guys, I’m thinking about trying the Bluetooth headphones and buying (I guess) an adapter for my iPod to use.
Anybody have any experience with any of these while training? Any models you would recommend to shop for?

I use the Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 bluetooth headdphones with my Galaxy 3. They are great and are cheaper than some of the other models (~$75 compared to $100+ for jaybirds). They have a pretty good range and the sound quality is very good. The battery lasts about 4 hours. I charge them after every 2-3 workouts. They are useful because there is no cord to get in the way or get stuck under my lifting belt.
I have no experience with adapters for iPods though so I cannot help you there.
I use bluetooth directly from my android phone. I love it but I dont know about using an adapter via an ipod.
I was burning through headphones so fast it justified the cost. also, id rip them out of my ears all the time DL’n. I had a Motorola set but the control buttons started to fail, so now I have an ikross set that is lighter and seem more durable. The sound is solid and enough to note hear the crap they play at the gym.
Thank you for the replies fellas. I’ll look into those this week. In the past I’ve mess up the audio ports in my iPod from sweat and I guess torsion on the jack during lifting. So I’ve gone through multiple head phones and a few mp3/iPods over the years from this. I think by leaving my iPod in my gym bag would work fine, and it also seems all new(er) music players have Bluetooth technology now. Wow-- I’m out of the tech loop…

Yeah I am pretty sure all the new iPods are bluetooth capable. Even the iPod mini. If you can put music on your phone or use Pandora or SoundCloud on your phone then bluetooth headphones are definitely worth it.
any other models you recommend ?
