Bloodwork Round Two and Functional Doc's Plan

Thanks guys for the ideas of what’s to come.

Missed free T3 - 3.1 range 2.0-4.4

Any opinions on the fasted glucose of 91?

Looks like that’s borderline prediabetic? My diet is quite good and I’m in shape. And really thirsty.

T3 could probably be higher, upper 25% of the range is usually where people feel best

A1C is a much better indicator than fasted glucose. Fasted of 91 is fine assuming your A1C is in check. Glucose can fluctuate a lot especially with the dawn affect if you are not familiar with it. A1C is your 3month average glucose reading basically.

Had the phone conversation with Dr. Melissa yesterday. Man… Defy are hormone assassins. They are just super professional and knowledgeable, make you feel like you are in teh driver’s seat too. She said, “The numbers definitely support you feeling like garbage.” That was extrememly validating - I was powering through the last three years or so because I figured everyone felt like that when 'turning 30". She was excited for me for how I would be feeling.

She said thyroid was low and recommended iodine.
Going to start on 50 mg 3x week subcutaneous with 30 IU’s of HCG 3x week

She had said that with low numbers like I had she sees a rise in IGF -1 after the first three months so she asked if I wanted to wait on peptides, but suggested I look into them and we can add something.

Previous dr had me alternating HCG and sermorelin every month. I felt better that increased vitality I’ve heard some talk about with HCG, even though I’ve read some guys felt worse. Anyone have thoughts on adding a peptide and if so what? I havn’t come across much talk of peptides with TRT in this forum.

Again- A+++ with Defy and if anyone is looking to have bloodwork done don’t fuck around with your local guys.
