If he says no or wants a copay just order the test yourself.

That’s not true. Get your cystatin-c checked if you want to be sure.

Thanks man. is there anything I can take to ensure healthy function?

At this point, given the totality of your lab results, I think you are fine.

What’s your water intake like?

Creatine is found in found. Creatinine is a byproduct of the kidneys measured in assessing their health.

High protein will cause it.

I know you mentioned no high protein in your diet, but give us a sample of what your daily diet is. The body really doesn’t need too much protein.

I drink a good amount of water. at least 80 ounces a day.

I intermittent fast, so from 6 pm to 11 am, nothing but water.

first meal at 11, oats with cinnamon and honey

Gym

2nd meal, for example this week is Tofu Tikka Masala over Brown rice

3rd Meal, sometimes the same as 2nd meal or if someone brings something home, I eat that.

I replied below but not to you directly for some reason.

My creatnine level has been around 1.1-1.5 for years. Goes up and down depending on things I do or dont do, like staying hydrated and laying off the NSAIDS. Ive also developed a low RBC issue since being on test. Started taking iron sups every day about 2 weeks ago and wow, do I feel better!

The low GFR is worrisome to me, but my Dr. doesnt seem as worried as I am so I dont fret about it. I just try and stay super hydrated and dont overdo the protein.

Im also probaly older than you (59), so thats a partial, natural cause too.
