Bloodwork: Low Test, Low Estrogen

It’s a safe bet to wait the 6 weeks because everyone is different and if you get labs at 4 weeks and your blood levels aren’t stable yet you could base your decision on blood levels that aren’t stable yet. Just because your bloods are stable at 6 weeks doesn’t mean your going to feel the full changes right away, I like to give things a month or two before I make another change to my protocol.

Roger Roger. I’m impatient in general and just want to see some bloodwork. Make sure I’m hitting some healthy numbers and not outside of range either way. I don’t have any complaints. I feel 10X better than before TRT so if things can get better… sweet. I guess I really just want to see why I feel so much better. Higher test. Higher estrogen.

Our SHBG levels are virtually identical and it took me a long time to feel consistent do to the fact I was on weekly injection, last 3 days was no good. Erections are still improving and took about 8 months to start feeling warm to the touch, getting better all the time. I’ve read it can take up to 1 year for erections to return on individual cases “only” if you E2 is within 20-30 pg/mL.

@systemlord, remind me again what protocol your on? Are you every 3.5 days or do I recall you said you settled at EOD at a lower dosage? Every 3.5 days is feeling pretty good right now. I know the day before shot day I’m getting pretty anxious but I don’t know if that’s just in my head. As much of a roller coaster as these shots have been I guess I kind of look forward to it in a way. My work out partner is getting pretty frustrated right now because I’m suddenly out lifting him. This morning he said he wants to start taking test to keep up. I can lift more just based on the fact my joints don’t hurt so bad.

I always felt anxious the last few days on once weekly, twice weekly took care of it but still battled high E2. Im on 17.5mg EOD and the last 2 days I’ve felt AMAZING since lowering dose last week!

TRT kit. Secured so kids don’t get into my stuff.

Checked my blood pressure just for fun. Never seen it this low. Maybe the cialis I guess?? Any thoughts??

Quick update: Still feeling good but I noticed pain in my shoulders again. It was shot day and took my shot last night. Feeling better today. Makes me think my estrogen is dipping below the sweet spot on trough day. I’ll know for sure once I get my bloodwork. I’m gonna pay out of pocket for the right test since my doc won’t budge for Estradiol Sensitive.

Probably the Cialis lowering your BP like that. Any symptoms? Dizziness, light headed, tired?

The first time I took the cialis I almost passed smooth out after 4 hours. Hasn’t happened since. I split a 5 mg pill and take 2.5 mg in the am and 2.5 mg pm. Works great. Awesome pumps in the gym. Good vascularity. I stopped taking the legit Eli Lilly cialis and take the generic tadalifil from India. I love it. I have 60 more tabs on the way to the house as we speak.

Well today ( Monday) marks the beginning of my 5th week on TRT. All I can say is it feels great. I’m loving it. My workout partner is not loving it. I’m out lifting him on just about every lift at this point. I have shown dramatic increases in strength on bench press. Set a personal record for myself this morning and felt pretty proud of that. I’m hoping to get blood work on Thursday morning of next week just to see where I’m at on trough days. I feel really good though. I’m way stronger but haven’t noticed any movement on the weight scale. Seems like a pretty consistent 198lbs.

You’re a fast responder for a low SHBG guy. Sounds like your workout partner is jealous, feels good though don’t it?

Yeah it feels good. As soon as I took the first shot I gave him a heads up. I knew he was gonna kill him if I started getting gains so I wanted him to know. It’s still killing him though. Yeah, I was mentally preparing myself for a battle if I started to struggle with the protocol but I feel great. There is no way around admitting that. I feel stronger than I ever have before. I’m still looking forward to doing bloodwork just to see what’s going on on the inside.

Congrats man! It feels good to feel good!

Quick update: I’m still feeling awesome at the end of my 7th week of TRT. No complaints. One thing that has been blowing my mind lately are the increases in my strength. WOW. I am hitting new personal best every single week. Before TRT I was lucky to hit 3 or 4 reps with 225 lbs. I hit 12 reps at 225 lbs this morning and that was after maxing out with 295 lbs. I have never hit that kind of weight in my life. AMAZING. I attempted 305 lbs and failed but I will get it next time. I haven’t done blood work yet. I wanted to do it yesterday but had a surprise visit from the owner of the company I work for. I’m planning on doing my own bloodwork next week. My endo is running blood work March 30th. That’s 3 months since I started. Seems to long to me. Anyways that it is my update.

I am way late to the party here.

Re iodine and body temperatures. Iodized salt will also benefit wife and kids.

When TRT enables strength gains, connective tissue can be a risk as those non-vascular tissue take a long time to strengthen and to heal if compromised.

“I considered the upper legs but it doesn’t seem like there is anything to grab there.” - all you need is a slight mound and inject from the end with needle parallel to muscles below. After injecting, press firmly with finger to allow vessels to seal off. If you so not feel the swelling of the T in the pinch as you inject, probably direct to a vein and you will cough for a while.
